I had some bear meat loaf at a Christmas party a few years back it was awful I will have to pass this on to the cook.

Its unfortunate that it only takes a few people doing stupid things to ruin it for everybody else.

Something to think about is how much energy your bullet will have at those longer distances some of the smaller calibers will easily shoot that far but may not have the energy to kill an elk. That being said I like the 7 RUM good luck

I agree it needs to be fun for them I have learned to ask my daughter what she wants to do seems to keep her more interested and if her plan works out she never lets me forget about it. I enjoy her success more than my own she has been blessed and has already harvested 7 of the big 10 for Arizona not bad for 14
