The 1 gal full jugs are put out by the group that called themselves the "good Samaritans" freaking litterers is what they are! putting 55 gallon blue water stations unauthorized on my land and leaving water bottles all over this beautiful country. the back packs are also left when full by these people. You will find canned food, can opener, gatorade, red bull and whatever else. Very expensive items for a pack left in the desert. It is my opinion and confirmed by BP that these "good samaritans" are paid or provided money through their church by the drug traffickers. BP said they can guarantee when water and food show up on trails they are instantly heavily used! We saw quite a few illegals in the first hunt. they were in 36b pretty heavy

How many people are versed in law and understand parts of the Buenes Aires being closed off to hunting to bring back the "bob white" which they have been trying for over 20 years. They are also trying to remove ALL mesquite trees as well. Not to mention those of us who have keys to the "closed" gates to get on to the state trust land they are now ticketing. What is everyones opinions on the fish and wildlife doing this? The new Game Warden in 36B is now handing out tickets. After 25 years when does the EXCUSE of planting "bob Whites" not a valid excuse anymore?

I talked to the owner of BK's Outlaw BBQ as well as Amanda about a meet up on Saturday night Oct 23rd around 730pm. I figured that will give everyone plenty of time to get done hunting and to the BBQ place. It will also be better that Sat night versus Fri night as not everyone makes it out to hunt the first night. Usually it runs 9-10 bucks for a meal and a drink but Richard the owner said 5 bucks a person will get you a Chicken, Pork, or Brisket sandwich a side and a drink. I thought this would be awesome for us to get together and talk about nothing but deer.... Coues Deer. Not to mention Richard had mentioned that he could probably get a few people to come in who have top 10 world record Coues deer. All in all it could be a great time to sit around and enjoy a couple hours of Coues talk. If I get him a head count so he has an average it would help with food and such as it isnt throw in the microwave fast food. Oh ya, He also said he has been taking orders for Field meals for those who want BBQ at their campsite and can pick the meals pre wrapped ready to be heated on their way into the area. I have a Cabin in Arivaca I stay at but am hunting in 36b. I have a ton of lies to tell, firewood to burn and beer to drink. PM if you want the address. LOL

I might have to do that. Ill def. be looking to get him opening morning! Ill be headed out Tues morning as well to see if I see him. I found another 100+ buck on a nearby hill as well. Saw him two mornings in a row roaming with 4 other bucks.

I know you know the area really well but the area im talking about was private land owned by the lopez's at one time and is now leased by the cattleman farmer Chilton. Its the old Hanus (sp?) pond. Im guessing you might be talking about Don locking it? Same property? Chilton gave us permission to hunt on HIS leased land and the game warden said he does not care. Im not so sure that is over stepping his boundry though

I have to disagree with your orange comment. Wearing orange during a rifle hunt is definitely not stupid. The more hunters wearing orange the better. Statistics do not show that big of a difference. Oregon has had 20 deaths in 25 years. you had better not get in a car, the chance of anything happening is way greater in your car!!!

I think wearing orange is stupid in my opinion. if someone "accidently" shoots me in camo that same idiot will "accidently" shoot me in orange. Stupidity cannot be fixed with an orange vest. I htink blued barrels, camo on guns and whatever else is very much needed. I had 2 different hunters tell me that my stainless barrel was the only wa he could see me. The rest of me with my camp blended right in. Animals see way better then we do when it comes to surroundings and blending in.

Not really. I could try and mark some up for us. I do know that if your crossing the Refuge to get to a hunting spot the new Warden has ticketed and said he will ticket ANYONE with a loaded gun in the car or on person. So be very careful.

I always noticed does leave more of a V pattern in their track and bucks the front does not come to a point but has a gap between the front point of the print

He is new and been their about one month living at the house on the ranch. He is spewing the same BS about the closure being due to re introducing the bob white to the area. It doesn't work, they are coyote bait and I challenge any of them as others have to shoe me thus thriving population of bob whites that they have trying to re establish to the area for 25 years! They are trying to or claim to ridding the entire area mesquite trees in an effort to bring the area back to the way it was 150 years ago. The flip side of this is at the cost of diminishing the now thriving mule deer heards which are growing in numbers again

Yes, I am going crazy wanting to get out and go hunting!!!! Oct 22nd cannot come fast enough
