    I kind of got burnt on the crossfit attitude. Tried to join the message board and have been denied 4 times to join as they do not believe that my name is what it is. My email. my phone and everything has the same name and they said they dont believe me.... piss off then. The gym i was going to does not tell you the price of their gym until after you go through the initial class... that kind of is shady as well. Either way... got out hiking this morning. New Danners and an easy to moderate trail at Dreamy draw. 1.5 miles and was back. Ill feel it shortly but it was the first time hiking since last october and the first time since walking again... LOL Going to try to do two times per week and build up.

    Thanks guys, Its def. hard dieting. I love food. I cook and use my smoker a lot so eating well, hand in hand with loving to cook. Its been way harder to stay even remotely in shape since my ankles but Ill get back there. Im like you, I eat when bored and not doing much. Like sitting around, driving, whatever.... time to keep that changed. I weighed in at 207.4 this morning. I know bad for me to weigh in evryday but I still do it. it frustrates me if I dont drop but It pushes me to work out a bit more to guarantee a drop... maybe with luck Ill see 204.XX for my monday morning weigh in... we will see.

  5. I just decided on a set of Danner Pronghorns for hunting. I have been very undecided. I tried Meindl in Cabelas and had to go an entire size smaller to get the fit. The tow was very wide and i did not like it. It really came down between these two and I went back and forth wearing one of each walking around the store.

    did you do the baseline test today? run 400 meters , 40 air squats, 30 situps,20 pushups, 10 pull ups all for time? Today our wod( workout of the day) was extreme 5 rounds for time; deadlift 225lbs 12 reps 20 pull ups clean and jerk 135lbs 12 reps knees to elbows 20 reps (while hanging from pull up bar) That is 100 pull ups, 60 deadlifts,60 clean and jerks,100 knees to elbows. all for time.ouch that was the rx weight, all movements and weights can be scaled if needed. My arms have been sore all day , not all of the wods are this difficult. stick with crossfit , after the first week the soreness wont be bad, the results are amazing The basline day one test was run 400 meters. 5 sets of 7 ring hangs 9 push ups 15 squats 5:01 with my bum ankle. Not great but I did feel it was okay. There were some 7-8 minute male times on the wall. here is a pic from 3 mondays ago to last monday... dropped from 226 down to 208.1 as of this morning. not a lot of difference but getting there. Not this monday but maybe next monday ill see 199.99999 LOL

    did the day one intro to crossfit today.... holy crap.... that was insane..... next intro class starts Sept 4th. ill pop in the class again for a modified workout before then.

    I always have my hunting license, and a lion tag in my jeep at all times.... I always have a loaded firearm and am always hunting or watching for something. Dont want to get caught with my pants down with some angry warden

    Ranger, Prowler or Rhino For UTV's

    If you are rolling your rhino, you flat out cannot drive and should not be driving a side x side. I have owned an RZRs, couple Rhinos, and soon to be a 4 seater XP900. Ive put the SXS through everything. the tires on this rhino are way stickier and better then stock and i am on asphalt.. at the e nd of this video i am TRYING to get it up on 2 wheels and it is still very stable..... Ive put over 20k miles in a sxs and have tipped over once... of course to my own extreme pushing it.... if you broke a leg or almost lost a leg... rule number one with anything. keep your legs and arms inside.

    they never will. The reason being is 90% do not know about how much trash there really is down there. I personally took michael reagan Ronald Reagans son down to 36b after a conversation on his show about trash that is from illegals. He stated "many people and Americans litter everyday in our national parks and land" I told him he does not understand the magnitude at which they are littering. He flew in to Tucson and we put him in the jeep and drove him down to 36b and showed him some nasty areas I am aware of not to mention just all over. He was AMAZED. would have never guessed it was like that. His idea and trash was not a city dump but pieces of litter here and there.

    209 flat this morning..... Ordering some new boots. Tossed between another pair of Under Armour Speed Freaks or Danner Pronghorns 8" boot. Completely different boots but feel very similar on the foot. Danner is a touch heavier... IM on track. Im ready to start hiking a bit slowly...
  14. Im working off a couple major surgeries to the ankle of all things to be getting in shape with. Have a few things Im looking to do. Want to start crossfit and try doing that to help as well as a goal of doing a toughmudder in February. Going to start some moderate hiking around the valley. easy and gentle at first...

    weighed in at 209.4 today... so stoked... below 210.... next goal is below 200... 199.9 LOL Basically 30 lbs to get to my 180 goal!

    Im feeling great this morning!!!! Made some juice in the juicer and ready to get the day on... Already did 50 crunches and 25 push ups.... Im trying to do that 2-3 times a day.

    I went up .2 over night..I know I know not suppose to weigh everyday but I do usually. I think putting starting weight in every post will help everyone know where you are at and how you are doing. Started 8/6/12 226 lbs. Down to 213.8

    Weighed in this morning. Saw a low of 213.6 I usually drop a ton of weight fast then mellow out. Week one is usually good for me and then I slow down to 2 lbs a week. It is usually good for me to get me dedicated and even more ready to lose weight.... Ive stayed on track. Eating healthy, lots of water, juice, and no crap except a orange cream popsicle sat night. Oh I had some home made jerky the other day as well and although most say it is good as it has no added salt

    I weighed in last Monday and was 226. Ill weigh in every Monday... lets start our Monday weigh in on this thread...... Still on track. Im at that 4 day mark which really makes it hard. Its the I really want to eat stage now... not just eat but eat crap. or stuff my face. Portion control is my biggest enemy.
