my house, Im thinking we could make a few wooden games for kids. if anyone is a wood worker. a cornhole game. ladder toss, We could all pitch in and bring a little something for food, or we could all pay 8 bucks each or something and one does all the shopping etc. for food, snacks, drinks, sodas, whatever. Lets get this going and together. It will be a great time. -
Hope everyone has a great time hunting and good luck!

What about Dec 11, its the second Sunday, not to close to Christmas. We can have a huge BBQ, play day, fun day. Is like to put some games together for the kids, activities for everyone. If we can get a solid head count over the next few days I'll plan further. Tell everyone we know. -

Ok, well those two people wont be able to make it.... -
No problem everyone. We always have a blast tag soup or not... Hunting is just that hunting... it is not called target perfection, shooting deer, its hunting... you hunt and sometimes.... you lose! The memories made and experience while "hunting" lasts forever.

Tried putting direct link to vids but it says to many files.. bummer..... should be able to view them by clicking. The little fawn was so cute running in the water for two days in a row for hours... it was cute.

Boots In Need of Some Sole's
vegasjeep replied to Mikey1312's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
If you have danners you can literally have them rebuilt from top to bottom for under 100 bucks if you send them in to Danner -

im looking to buy some new boots as well before next weekend. Resoling seems to be almost as expensive as new boots. who knows.. I def want a Vibram sole though. I am hitting up Bass pro and Cabelas tomorrow to try on a few pair... -
i too have extra guns..

Ill agree, with such short hunting times if the moon is full, gone, half or a sliver Im hunting regardless. however I notice more activity when the moon is less full. It is funny though. My best hunting in few spots i frequent are between 9-10. I see more deer 3 huors after sun up then early.

The nogales office number is 520-761-2400 I keep that one as well. Give them GPS coords and away you go. They will usually ask you how many, men, woman or children, do they have packs etc.

I dont know how my post double posted.. LOL Hours later. Anyways Im home... buckless but great hunting and camping and al ready looking forward to next year.. Where yes, Ill hold out for a big one. Some people think i am crazy not shooting the top buck. he was nice. I seriously laid down, got steady and pulled the trigger so many times in my head that it hurts. I decided to pass and offered him to my bro in law who also said "man if you are able to hold out I will too" LOL Im disappointed that Nick SNDRDNK had to come home Sunday morning after the hunt. We switched to a honey hole from a couple years ago that produced over 150 deer in 48 hours of hunting. So many little bucks that he would have loved and one great buck that many would have loved....This morning the wind picked up and we felt the deer were all hiding as it was windy. we still saw about 20+ does and 3 spikes. This place produced before and it still has tons of deer from very low pressure. we saw not one sole in 2 days.. LOVE It. the hike sucks though. My goal for next year is to hunt closer to Phoenix. If anyone has a few area they hunt around let me know. Id love to put in some year round scouting and territory learning to learn where the good deer are.

Bonecollector- I promise you my brother in law and I debated on it. But didn't want to scare away a bigger buck. Todays the day... Big buck or little for meat

I got in position on the top buck, got steady, pulled the trigger 5 times in my head and passed hoping for something bigger
-
All those were actually bucks. If you look the one pic has nubs but no antlers. The top buck was at 100 yards and an easy shot. Passed on it. Saw 51 does and 18 bucks all under 100 yards. This morning was very nice. Holding for bigger

I saw 32 does, 11 bucks but nothing I wanted to shoot. My brother in law and I are trying to hold out for something bigger. Showed a new hunter details of hunting, glassing etc. Couldn't get him in his range on anything except for one last night in which he keEnest speed to get ready is KEY. The minute I say buck looking through the binos you pull the trigger. You have to hurry and get down and ready to shoot. Tomorrow morning we are going to our old honey hole where we intend to find bigger bucs LOL

Tonight went to a previous honey hole got their late and was skunked on anything.
