    'Simplified' Fees by AZGFD

I have talked to people that said these are nowhere near official numbers and were purposely started high because they expect any increase to be negotiated down by the public and the commission.

Topic about corrupt AZGFD is pinned at the top of the page

The number of blown saves this year is already ridiculous. They're a good team though and I enjoy watching them.

    Wow 2013

Reading comprehension is not strong in these ones.... Since Arizona State became a university in 1958, ASU leads the series 30-24-1. And yes that is funny. My statement is correct. Arizona State University leads the series. It's a fact. UA did dominate the likes of Tempe Normal and the college. Congratulations.

    Wow 2013

ASU has the #1 honors college in the country.. I wouldn't expect a UA fan to know much about academics though. http://publicuniversityhonors.com/2012/03/23/top-programs-sat-minimum-1300-1400/

    Wow 2013

ASU does? I find it funny when UA fans count all the games against Tempe Normal etc. BEFORE ASU became a university. Check the record since then and you will carry a different tone

    G&F Released Wolves again.....dang

I personally would love to see a Grizzly in AZ, but realistically that is a much bigger problem than wolves. I can imagine the public outcry after the first grizzly stumbled onto a hiker with rat dogs and gave them a good swat of a paw. I can't imagine cattle folk would be too happy either considering the last Grizzly in AZ was killed by a government trapper after ranchers complained of dead cows with bashed in skulls.

    Need Bow Restrung

I'm sure there are other great places out there but I also strongly recommend Robert at Broken Arrow Archery. A great guy that does great work.

    Coconino travel managment

That's weird.... I thought that it was the G&F that said they will not enforce any travel management stuff? And are even fighting it? I could be wrong.

    Duel in the Desert

Seems like sound logic.... we beat you, but your coach is still better? What does that say about UA? I forget that you guys are going to be in your very first Rose Bowl again this year!

My wife finally drew her first archery elk tag 5BN

If the fronts (G1's) are as long as the nose or extend past the nose you better be shooting!

I would definitely say possible (especially a few years ago). But I consider a 330 + bull in that unit big. You shouldn't have too much of a problem finding a decent 6x6 that would make anyone with a bow in their hands excited.

    A new State Record...Flathead!!!!!

I agree. Anyone chasing a record knows that death is part of the deal. The catch and release record book is there for a reason. What a great fish though!

    Once in a lifetime?

There are a ton of reasons why Pronghorn are struggling in our state but I think habitat loss due to things like Juniper encroachment is huge. Antelope evade predators through sight and speed. What were once open grasslands are now dotted with trees that give predators like a mountain lion something to hide behind. Coyotes following pregnant does waiting for them to drop fawns doesn't help either...
  15. It's tough to say but it seems like the second week is normally the better of the two weeks. However, every year is different. A cold spell during the first week or a heat wave during the second could easily make the first week the better of the two. 5B N is not considered a "trophy" unit but I don't think you will have any problem finding a respectable 6x6.

Any other lucky 23N Early Archery Bull tag Holders here?

Throw a dart at a map of the unit, make sure you can access it, and you're good to go. Yep elk are everywhere in the unit. It would be tough not to drive down any road and not hear a bugle in the peak of the rut. Pretty neat with only 15 tags. Congrats!

    Carp

Out of curiosity, do the buffalo and carp run together? Or are you seeing the buffs in different areas than the carp?

    Wow 2013

I want to bag on UA for beating Harvard and Belmont to get into the sweet 16 (the easiest route I have ever seen), however I have to give them kudos for putting themselves in a position to play those teams and advance. Their seed position was because of their tougher scheduling, and wins throughout the regular season I wish Sendek would realize it's tough to make the tournament playing so many patsies every year.

Side note.... When did basketball become such a foul happy game? You look at the guy next to you funny and the whistle is blown. It's made it almost unwatchable. Almost.

Preseason polls are ridiculous. Just like in football. I wish no rankings came out until 1/3 of the games are played.

WTB: TAC powder and .224" bullets

I only remember buying a box, and I did attempt to load a couple, but never shot them. So my best guess is somewhere between 75 - 100. I'll throw in the ones I loaded too if you guys want to pull the bullets from them. I messed up the shoulder of the brass while pressing the bullet in and it wouldn't cycle well through my AR. So I never fired them.
