The G&F expo is tailored towards family and kids.

Thank you! Looked him up and his website had dates already listed. Just what I was looking for.

Still not in Tucson so I imagine pretty dang well.
-
For the current 1/4 mile firearm rule you can hunt within that with permission from the owner. For example, dove hunter and dairies, etc... I imagine that stipulation would apply to an archery law as well.

Roosevelt will break 60% after this storm runs off. Come on more storms!!

That's how I read it. On the 6 points, it's because it was their second choice. They probably drew their first choice.

Great buck! And good to see you smiling. -
Aldo Leopold states in his book that the last grizzly in Arizona was killed on top of Escudilla in 1937 I believe. A government trapper killed the bear after complaints of it bashing the skulls of cattle in. Something like that. I couldn't find my copy of the book.

There is a small group of people that can shoot long distances, but there are very few instances when and where you can't get closer. Is it laziness? I'm not sure. If you see a buck at 800 yards and look me straight in the eyes and tell me you can't get any closer I'd probably laugh at you. 99% of the time there is a better and closer shot with no risk of spooking the animal.

Yes and bigger! Cool picture. Good luck.

Does a budget spotter with the sole purpose of getting a better look at antlers exist? Now that I have 15's I find myself finding bucks farther out and being able to see antlers but not close enough to get as good of a score estimate as I would like. I have no desire to glass with the spotter as the one eye thing gives me a headache.

Hunt as normal. One less bear in Pioneer Pass shouldn't effect the population. Especially given how far bears can travel each day. You really never know where you'll find a bear once the season opens in August.

This is one of the coolest threads I have ever seen on this site. Great job!

Huge fish!! It looks like one might be a Black Buffalo and the other a Smallmouth Buffalo. What lake?

A 30mm or bigger scope only gives increased weight and more adjustment. If you don't need the adjustment.... You are fine with a 1". A 20 moa rail and a good 1" scope might get you out far enough. It all depends on what your goals are. A guy that wants a lightweight gun that shoots to 800 might be fine with a 1". If you're a bench rest guy shooting to a mile you won't get there with a 1".

SOLD OUT **Raffle** Arizona Elk Society Swarovski SLC HD 15x56
ForkHorn replied to n2horns's topic in The Campfire
I'm the lucky guy that received the phone call earlier. I am over the moon happy! I just checked and I've been a member of coueswhitetail.com since 2005, and have probably been buying raffle tickets for just as long. I never thought I'd actually win, but kept buying because the money goes to great use. I'm proof that it is possible to win though. Thanks to the Arizona Elk Society! Keep buying tickets guys. Best case scenario you get lucky like me. Worst case, you're still helping wildlife! -
Tenkara is great. But IMO more suited for smaller trout creeks where there is little room to back cast and "slingshotting" your fly is key. Good luck!! A site I frequent from time to time is www.tenkarabum.com

I bought 3. Probably saved me $50. Thanks for the tip.

Most ASU fans won't support the Men's basketball team until Herb Sendek is fired. Although it is funny that we somehow have managed to split the series with UA the last couple years.

GoPro to Spotting Scope?
ForkHorn replied to AxisWorks LLC's topic in Photography of Coues Deer and Other Wildlife
Any updates or success stories? I have a go pro 3 and am trying to figure out how to make it work on either binos or a spotting scope -
Nice fish!! Carp fishing is the next big thing. They are fun as all heck to catch, and you can catch them anywhere.
