Didn't the original EIS already allow for a rancher to kill a wolf that he observed attacking livestock , etc?

*Brand New* 300 Weatherby Vanguard S2
ForkHorn replied to Devil Diver Down's topic in Classified Ads
Somebody jump on this. Great deal and the s2's are amazing guns for the price. The trigger on mine is sweet. -
Do you want quality photos? Or just photos that give you a good idea of what the animal is? If your goal is the second.... I would personally look around for the right deal and try to get as many cameras for your money as possible. For lower budget stuff I have had good luck with wild game innovations. You might be able to find a deal that let's you get four cameras for that $200. When running a lot of cams, batteries and cards can add up $ quick as well.

Eh. I almost wish they hadn't so they could fire Sendek. The last few games they have looked horrible and unmotivated

The way back to big trout is to start keeping the little ones. Say if for example the carrying capacity of a water is 100 pounds of fish.... you could have 100 - 1 lb fish or 10 - 10 lbers. Or anywhere in between. Lees ferry is stuck at the lots of little fish phase... The problem with lees ferry is you have a bunch of trout that will never reach maximum size because there are so many of them competing for a limited food source. The catch and release culture has a hard time understanding that sometimes the best thing to do to get more big fish is to keep some smaller fish.

Congrats man!!!

Part of the mild winter was/is higher than average temps. When it's really cold, elk spend a lot of energy just fighting off the cold. Winter is not exactly an easy time for wildlife... but the mild winter will probably have elk in better body condition, sooner than normal which = bigger antlers. Now if we could just get a little more precipitation...

That they kill once a week is probably accurate but there is a lot more "food" out there than just deer.... cattle/calves, Javelina, turkey, small game, elk up north, etc... in AZ I bet deer make up a fraction (25%??) Of a mountain lion's diet..

jag critical habitat established. any predictions?

From what I understand, AZGFD was actually against this... and because they control the tags, I doubt we see a decrease. Besides they would fight a decrease based on the money loss alone. -
Do I have to go in draw for Arizona Coues Whitetail?
ForkHorn replied to aushunter's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
You might look into a guided hunt in Mexico as well. You won't have to wait to get drawn for your tag of choice. -
How do you like the Cgt? I'm eyeballing one for my first glass rod but I've read varying reviews about it. (I roll cast a lot) Good luck with the contest!

Awesome! What setup are you running now? A kabuto would be the dream. Voted.

1. UA lost by 3 not 2, so please explain to me how this effects the outcome of the game. And 2. You act like UA would have actually made a free throw...
-
Lance even you know that ASU will make the tournament this year.
-
Serious question. What's the deal with the free throws?? So many free points left on the court....

Anything we can do to stop the money hungry machine that is AZGFD?
ForkHorn replied to bonecollector777's topic in The Campfire
You do realize that your average everyday game and fish guy in the field gets paid sub par and for the most part wants the same things you want? If you have a problem with the game and fish then directing your comments at the commission is probably your best bet. The guys in the field don't get rich doing what they do and are often working on orders from people far above them.- 97 replies

Oh the irony.... UA fans imply girly stuff about ASU over a "blowout" win in a non contact sport (basketball) when ASU had a much larger margin of victory in a contact sport (football) where the average points scored in a game is much less.
-
I'll talk basketball. UA has the team I wish ASU had. I don't follow ASU basketball and won't until the head coach is fired. Maybe the new AD will make that a priority? Sendek = Rich Rod. Play a bunch of patsies out of conference to get some wins and then go .500 in PAC 12 play and you end up with a winning season. I will never root for the cats but I admire how Miller has them playing.
-
Serious question.... does anyone in this thread actually believe that "the rest of the country" watched either bowl game? Nobody besides us could give a crap about anything football related in AZ and it will stay like that until one of the teams gets to the next level. ASU was close but just not quite there. And pounding your chest because you beat a crappy team does need not somehow make UA a better team than ASU this year. Nice try though
-
The best player in UA history is likely going to the NFL, and UA has no QB. Good luck with that.
-
I'm not sure if the above commenter is sarcastic or doesn't realize ASU won 58 to 21.....
-
I never understood the bitterness from UA fans. UA had nothing to do with ASU losing and still lost 58 to 21 this year. On another note, UA is rolling Boston College right now. Good for them and I wish ASU had shown the same "want" last night.

It was tough to watch a team that didn't show up and looked unmotivated.
