What I fail to understand is the refusal of UA fans to admit ASU is not only a better team, but a top team in the country that at the current moment seems to have a bright future. I have no problem admitting UA's basketball team is a great team, and that ASU needs to do something to get to that level. Why the denial? It benefits your school if you recognize this and want change for the better. I'm still waiting for Sendek to be fired and change to happen on the basketball side. It's counter productive to think your team is good when they're not.

Nice to see you take an interest in where ASU is ranked. I can't seem to find UA in any of those? Turning into a bandwagon ASU football fan maybe? BTW the BCS ranking is the only one that matters... what you fail to show is the computer rankings having them much higher which is why they are 14 in the BCS. My point was you offered one guys opinion about the ranking of teams other than the top 25.

As a Sun devil fan, I think Arizona has a great team and Miller has done a great job. It's still early, but I would be surprised if they didn't get a 1 seed for the tournament, which is really all that matters. Although it is pretty cool to have the ranking to go with it this early in the season... Huge target on their backs for the rest of the season and PAC 12 play should be interesting as I think the rest of the conference is pretty deep. I think they'll bounce around the top 5 for awhile, and lose in the elite 8. But hey what do I know.... I'm just a college football fan that watches basketball once or twice a year.

Hey Lance hold on a second while I go post some random rankings that have no value to anyone to some made up website, and then I can post them back here for reference. Lol at your "power rankings". Multiple schools UA lost to are ranked below them. Convenient. ASU is ranked 14th in the BCS, but lower in your rankings. Also convenient. Thanks for showing us one guys opinion. Bowls are all about money and have nothing to do with pitting the best teams against each other... even you should know that. Holiday bowl payout is much better than the Advocare.

Funny thing is... ASU fans are still on top. Losing to Stanford in a championship game does not negate the 58 to 21 beat down... Cool story though. Maybe next year you'll be able to pull within 20 points of ASU?

Rough game for ASU. The program is headed in the right direction, they just got pushed around tonight by a great team I'll be rooting for Stanford in the Rose Bowl. It'll be interesting to see which bowl ASU ends up in now. Go Devils!

My vaccum has been acting up lately so I let Rich Rodriguez and the UA football team use it. Now it sucks again... 58 to 21.

Other than something like CWD (which they are already be fairly proactive about), most of the things that could be detrimental to a deer herd or elk herd are actually carried by parasites. (Think EHD) The number one thing we can do to improve our herds is habitat management. Quite frankly, thick and dense forests of spindly pine trees is just plain bad for big game animals in Arizona.. Lots of mosaic logging to create edge between cover and feeding zones along with mechanical thinning would increase the forage base. Add in some well timed rain and maybe some controlled burns here and there and the habitat really improves.

Lol at a guy who roots for the team that had a losing record in the PAC 12 and just lost to ASU 58 to 21. The only game that matters to ASU at this point is on Saturday. If they win they're in the Rose Bowl, if they don't then they're not. ASU has the third ranked strength of schedule in the country. Attempting to discount anything they have done is ridiculous.

What a complete beat down and a fun game to attend. 58 to 21 has a nice ring to it.

As a die hard ASU fan... Kadeem Carey does not get nearly enough respect nationally. Carey for heisman? He should at least be considered IMO. Hopefully he has his worst game of the year next week but stays healthy so the NFL takes him. Lol

It is very possible ASU's football team will end up ranked in the top 10. You really think that high of the basketball team? That's cool to hear.

That said, ASU needs to play an almost perfect game or we will be praying for USC to beat UCLA next week.

That's weird... here I thought ASU was ranked 17th and had a game on Saturday against 14th ranked UCLA. I also vaguely remember something about if ASU wins they lock up the PAC 12 south and a place in the PAC 12 championship game..

It's hilarious that UA fans are laughing because ASU lost to a top 5 team in the nation on the road. Stanford is that good. ASU is a good team. They just are nowhere near the elite level of Stanford. Stanford could beat all three of the teams UA played, all at the same time, and with they're eyes closed. Nice strength of schedule though. Play three crap teams and you're halfway to bowl eligibility! PAC 12 play won't be so kind..
