Got 3 hits to my credit card last week: antelope, elk, and elk. Put in separate apps for me and my son. Figured I would be thrilled with one tag...feel like I won the Mega Millions with 3 tags. And this is my first antelope tag since I was a sophomore in high school. My son is now a high school freshman. The suspense is killing me though.

I can definitely follow the snow line. 123456: I know for sure I am doing a 4-day weekend hunt on the 11th through the 14th of May. I may go up the last weekend of the season as well, but my son will be at the high school prom that weekend...as a freshman. A senior asked him to go. Kinda proud of him! I saw in an older post that the main road may be closed. Does that road open on a specific day each year or is it opened when the snow level drops? My question is: how much of the unit is accessible if the main highway is closed? thanks for the advice!

I will be hunting 12A for the first time in April 2012. I've been hunting unit 1 but figured I would try a new unit because of the Wallow Fire. My son will be using the youth over the counter tag. I'm going in totaly blind on this hunt. Hopefully, you all can provide some general guidance. Is there plenty of running water or are they dependent upon water tanks? How late does the snow last on the north rim?
