  1. That's pretty cute.
  2. They probably received a lot of comments that overwhelmed their site.
  3. That's a big deal, and a big blow to the AZSFW.
  4. That's impressive Ryan. You state in such a way that makes it easy to understand. Thanks for taking the time to do that.

Great ideas. I just got off the phone with Mr. Tobin's secretary. She said they are getting a lot of calls opposing bill HB2072 and I said, "Great, put my name down as another that opposes it." Not sure if Mr. Tobin will call me back but we will see. Thanks again for the idea and phone number.

What else can we do besides telling our circle of hunting friends and emailing our government officials? Any ideas?

Hello. I am new to your forum. I normally chat with the guys and gals on the AZ Hunter forum. My name is Stephanie Rainey. I host and produce an outdoor television program in the White Mountains called, "Stepping Outdoors." My show is all about the outdoors from hunting to hiking to fishing to camping. I am posting to let you all know that I oppose HB2072 and will do everything I possibly can to get the word out to my viewers about the negative ramifications of HB2072. I've posted an ad on my show to get the word out for my viewers to watch the webcast on March 22nd and join our battle against HB2072. I am glad to be able to work arm and arm with you all in getting this bill defeated.
  9. Speaking for myself I like the idea of a habitat stamp if we can be sure that the revenue created goes 100% to habitat improvement, whether it be water catchments, wildlife friendly fencing projects and so on. I don't want it to go the general fund either where officials can use it to their discretion. If we as sportsmen put in money for a habitat stamp then by golly we should be able to say where the money goes and where it does not go. I see some very positive things happening since we got wind of HB2072. Sportsmen are coming together and letting their views be heard and are becoming passionate about those views and what happens here in Arizona. Keep this up and we can do some good for our state and the habitat and wildlife that we are so passionate about.

    In favor of 2072

Seems like so far the only ones sending approvals of HB2072 are those affiliated with the Hamberlins. I think this is all good really, you get to see people in the sporting and hunting industry for who they are and what they stand for. Kind of like the old adage, "You're either fer me or agin me"

I want to give a big thank you to Terry and Amanda for keeping us up to date not only on this forum but the AZ Hunter as well. I know it takes a lot of time to do what they do and I for one appreciate all they do along with all the other folks who are posting to keep us informed as things happen.
