I probably killed 10 times more birds with my Daisy 880 than I've ever got with a shotgun. I wonder if Grandma ever knew why I was always so concerned when the bird feeders were getting low.

Buying a used suburban or yukon, what to look for?

That's what I was told -

The last two Chevy's I've bought had that top end tick and 200,000 miles later they still had it. -
The absolute last person in the world I would want to infringe on is our men and women in the military. I talked a little about exemptions for those with parental backing and the training to be competent. I hope it goes beyond saying, that any member of the armed forces far exceed that. What I'm talking about are these deranged young men raised with no father, already have a history of dangerous behavior. To BeardownAZ, I really get where you are coming from. I've fought this fight for thirty years now. I understand that it feels like giving an inch will be a mile down the road. And you are right - it will if not done right. On the other hand, being the ones who proposed the inch, when it makes sense, creates future political clout that can't be achieved by just fighting everything. I think about Lewis and Clark, and their small team, pulling that giant boat up river into uncharted country. They suffered very few losses. Part of that was mile by mile making friends along the way rather than enemies. I know, a little off tangent, but the point I'm coming back around to is, like it or not, we're going to have to bend. We can choose how we bend, even propose it, if we're smart. If we choose not to bend, we'll get into areas we didn't want to go. Upping the age to buy a rifle without parental consent is a very small bend, IMO, and one we can say WE proposed. That creates political leverage down the road. The kind that makes anti-gunners lose their power and momentum, because they didn't propose it or make it happen. Just try and look at it from a perspective other than your own, and I hope you'll see what I"m getting at. You see looking at everyone in the country between the ages of 18 & 21 as guilty till proven innocent, a small bend? It's pissin on every thing this country is supposed to be! Other than the Florida shooting what other mass shooting was done by someone under 21 that purchased their own weapon anyway? I really can't remember any. The kid that did this had a lot of problems with the law, he made threats on social media. All that and he was able to pass a background check. We don't need more laws punishing the innocent! We need accountability for the ones failing to enforce the laws we have!

Try submoashooting.com I think I saw the 105 Berger's on there the other day.

Sinclair's has 12 count sample packs for under $10. I know I've seen some 105 and 115 Berger's on there.

I'm not 100% but I want to say 2.090

What velocities were you getting if you don't mind me asking. 3420 fps from the 80 gr Berger. A fire forming load with the 53 gr V-Max@ 3550 fps that shot within 1/2 of poi as the 80 gr Berger. Then a full power 53 gr v-max @ 4200 fps

Mine was a Savage model 11 vt, a heavy barrel model only available from Dick's sporting goods. I had just bought it for a cheap coyote killer and hadn't intended to build on it but when I sighted it in I discovered it had a bent barrel. Ratter than dealing with Savage I decided I should just fix it up the way I wanted it anyway. I ordered a m40 Bell & Carlson, and a Douglas air gauge 26" 1/7 twist rem varmint contour barrel. Rather than deal with the feeding issues mentioned above I ordered several Savage magazines intended for a 6.5 Creedmoor. The Creedmoor and 22-250 Ai have identical case taper and just a few degrees difference in shoulder angle. Just switched magazines when going from fire forming loads to AI loads and never had any issues. Don't remember how the rifle was throated but I know a 53gr V-Max could still be seated into the lands for fire forming. The pic I've attached is a 80 gr Berger VLD seated .005 off the lands next to a 55 gr Hornady factory 22-250 load.

My brother used mine on a Coues 2 years ago 596 yds dropped like struck by lightning.

I talked to someone at Sierra a few days ago they told me 1.240 on the 95 gr and said optimum twist would be 1 in 6.5 but a 7 twist would likely work. Don't know if you already have the action but I would really recommend building a 22-250 ai on a Savage model 10. The action has more room for the long bullets and you can avoid feeding issues when switching from fire forming loads to full Ackley loads. A 308 or 6.5 creed mag feeds the 22-250 ai perfectly. Pretty hard to make feed rails on a 700 feed both well with the huge difference in case taper. My last one was set up with a rem varmint contour Douglas air gauge 1 in 7 twist and was awesome with the 80 gr Berger vld. Rl-22 gave 3420 fps and sub 1/4 moa to 1000 yds. I would recommend using lapua brass to form, I had some problems with the Nosler primer pockets. I have a pair of 22-250 Ackley imp rifles in the shop right now, on the first one I didn't want to stop shooting long enough for it to cool off.

Haven't but it looks good, I started with blue dot cause I had some.

Looks nice but not sure about adding one to my G20 but I did see a service offered to machine the slide for it for $100. That's a great price for the machining. The model 40 comes ready for an optic. I got the RMR relatively cheap from Midway as the new ones were coming out. Best I can tell, this one is exactly the same, minus the battery being on the bottom. It is kind of a bummer having the battery on the bottom because there is not an on/off switch. So do you have to take it off to replace the battery? Does it return to zero? Im kicking around getting one for a FN 5.7 (which I still have to buy) and am researching which one to get. For the old style (what i have) yes you have to take it off. I do not know about return to zero as I have not had it long enough to have to replace the battery. I've had mine for just shy of 3 years and haven't had to change to battery yet.

Have the exact same set up. My favorite handgun ever. Good ammo is a bit hard to find but I'd rather load anyway. I've got all the stuff to reload but haven't really tackled it yet. What bullet do you load? I'm leaning towards the 180 XTP. The 180 XTP is all I've loaded. Lost most of my data in a fire but I want to say around 10 grs of blue dot gave me 1280 fps. I'm not the best pistol shot but I could put 10 in a 6" group at 50 yds with this load.

Just got off the phone with them, should have done that to start with but was expecting to sit on hold for ever. They answered right away and said 6.5 would be perfect and 7 would likely be fine.

Looking for an optimum twist rate for the new .224 95 gr Sierra Matchking. Haven't been able to find it on Sierra's site but thinking 1 in 6.5" should do.

Will be another 22-250 Ackley. Had one in a 7 twist that was awesome with the 80 gr Berger Vld. Only had it a year but in that time was able to drop a Coues at 600 yds a coyote at 900 and was more than capable of 1000 yd and beyond rabbit and prairie dog fun. Above all that with no brake you could watch the vapor trail and impact in the scope.

Used them once and thought a really bright streamlight worked better.

Just read somewhere Wyoming was increasing non res prices fairly hard, might be easier to draw this year.

The psi you will need will mostly depend on the type of soil in your base. 4" of 2500 psi and a 4' grid of #4 rebar would be fine if the soil is extremely stable, non expansive, and compacted well. If your soil is expansive 6" of 5000 psi with a 12" grid of rebar would likely not be enough unless you do some pad prep.

Slip and lock nut wrench. Used for removing a drain from a sink.

$3200 for a rug? Holy smokes Ya I thought it was a little odd too especially since he ended doing a full body mount for $3100.
