I was near Sonoita recently and saw what appeared to be a Mexican wolf as well. Also saw a sign at a hotel in Sonoita that read "Welcome Refugees"!

The best rated and "supposedly" most capable family type tent caused a very crappy night when a freak storm hit. Broken poles and ripped roof made for a quick evacuation to the nearest motel one night. A canvas tent (kodiak type or outfitter type) will handle that kind of storm no problem. As will a tent trailer.

i have had many brands of the family camping tents. I will never own another. Cabelas alaknak, any brand Canvas tent, or tent trailer is the way to go. Its worth it to spend the extra bucks. Warmth and waterproof capabilites are the main reasons.

Love the picture of Horse Mesa Dam road. I have graded that road many times.

If you can find it...look for ADI ammo. It is miitary ball ammo and will hold 1moa. They also make some match ammo but not in bulk. Most military ammo is 3moa this australian ammo is much better.

They are great bullets with a very good bc. Surprised more people dont use them

My Tikka with factory ammo is extremely lightweight and shoots .25 moa with nosler ammo. Having done nothing to it i shot repeatable 1" groups at 440 yds recently. Unless your name is Lance Kenyon i doubt you will find a more accurate rifle. I shot my coues at 585 this year. Only restriction was the caliber. 7mm-08 is pretty weak at 600 yds. I would choose 7mag tikka if i wanted lightweight factory gun that i could shoot long range.

Awesome time. I found a spot recently that is thick with mearns and i dont regularly hunt them although I have wanted to go there ever since.

My family and I stayed at Johns place last weekend for my elk hunt in 22north. We all had a great time and John was a great host. The cabin is in a very nice place, kids enjoyed the creek across the street and my wife stayed warm the entire time. Just want to say thanks again to John (JLG) for offering up his place.

Great bull! word is getting out about these late archery hunts and its gonna become harder and harder to draw.

Any law enforcement officer in the state of arizona (rez cops being the exception) has jurisdiction in the whole state of arizona to enforce any laws. So makes sense officers from any and all departments should be able to share in overtime duties such as football games. Everyone needs a little extra money once in a while...especially during this time of year.
