I understand shooting conditions change etc. my point was if the exact same info was entered on several ballistic apps/software there is a different answer for almost every app. One guy using shooter could have a difference of 7" vs a guy using Isnipe. No telling which one is right unless you verify your own rifle.

I have used and seen SST's lay the smack down on elk many times. From 300 to 600 yds they are simply deadly. One shot instant kills. Antelope same results only the one at 100 yds exit wound was 6". For long range work they are deadly. Up close they ruin a lot of meat.

So just based on the limited responses so far we have more than 1 moa of deviation. At 650 yds that is almost 7" off.

Using jbm ballistic i get 13.6 moa

Using isnipe i get two different answers depending on which time i log on lol. 13.25 moa and 13.38 moa.

Not sure if its the reason but now tmobile and sprint are piggybacking off of verizon towers. Maybe they are setting up the new network for those companies

You can pull stats and percentages from just about anywhere. I think the best pro gun argument is to simply look at hitler and ww2 Germany era. No one had any way to fight back. Also during WW1 Americans sent their guns to friends and family members in Europe where guns were outlawed. This was a temporary measure allowed in England/Brittain/ whatever the heck its called now so people could defend themselves during the war with more than sticks and stones. A family member of mine sent their gun overseas during this program and has a letter thanking him. That is all the info i need to make the decision to own guns forever.

You can hunt bull elk every year if you are willing to chase them with your bow in November. I am 2 for 2 doing that the last couple years. This year I switched up to rifle but next year will probably go nov archery again. I like hunting elk not sitting around waiting for 10 years like some of these guys. I get drawn pretty much every year by knowing the system and how the draw works. So if you are willing to hunt elk when it is not the rut you will have many opportunities.

some people can get too worked up over dogs. You are doing the right thing finding them a new home. Some people would just take them out to the desert and put a bullet in them. Hope you find a good home
