I have see raspberries in the top of Oak Creek. There are also blackberries midway up oak creek. I have not made it to the top to look for raspberries but definitely will next time.
-
What I picked are definitely blackberries same as hoghntr. I still have never seen raspberries in Az but I know they are here. The two berries are very different in appearance and I have studied many plants in Az. I have been picking blackberries around central Az for 10 years or so. It is an annual trip for me but this year I hit the jackpot trying a new area. I would love to find an area with raspberries so Viper maybe you and I could trade some info on our spots??

question about auto repairs versus buying a new car
AverageJoe replied to naturegirl's topic in The Campfire
Is the rev at the end of the start hurting the car at all? Is there a reason it has to be fixed? -
I just picked about 5 lbs of wild blackberries last weekend. Found a mile long patch in a creek bottom and picked so many but we hardly scratched the surface. And they are blackberries for sure not raspberries. Have never even seen wild raspberries in Az. Blackberries are everywhere.

All str8tshot i saying is that breaking the law is breaking the law even if you think its a stupid law. He is right whether you want to agree with him or not. Whoever's trail cam that is in the pic placed it there illegally.

See it is this ignorance that divides us ... Does not matter what you think ... it is against the law to cut or screw into live trees in OUR national forests ... IF you can justify the breaking of law no matter how small you are no different than then what you call thieves breaking the law ... funniest part is these so called thieves are not actually usually breaking the law when taking what the law defines as abandoned property ... I think it is wrong that any person takes what is not theirs but it is also as wrong for so many hunters to turn a cheek at actual laws and even funnier when they do not see their own hypocrisy ! You assume this is on USFS lands ........ are you sure? If you want to troll, go to the lake. So if someone doesnt agree with the masses on here must mean hes a troll right???

Best rifle cartridge for open terrain - Unit 21 Whitetail hunt
AverageJoe replied to Desert Rat's topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
+1 the 300 wsm is very good gun. Also the 7mm-08 is a better choice than the 243 or 308. -
Camerland has them for 1350 right now

Zeiss terra are nice but inconsistant from one pair to another. I would go with viper hd if you can afford it.

Selling my Leupold Rangefinder RX 1200 TBR with DNA. Bought last year and used on a couple hunts. In very good condition. Asking $300. Pics will come later
-
Yes found a good deal on a used leica. The leupold is almost as good but leica still edges it out on clarity.

Self guided is the only way i would hunt sheep. And yes in your situation you will still have a good chance.
