I don't know the folks that are putting this hunt on, but I do know Robert and his family. This is for a great cause and it's a good excuse to get out and enjoy some calling.

Check out Tucson guns. I bought one there for my boy last summer. They had several used ones at a good price. The older ones are much nicer than the newer stuff.

The seekins rifle in the last cabelas ad looked pretty interesting. There are lots of good options out right now. I picked up an xbolt for $479.99 with a $50 rebate last October. Best factory gun I own.

This was going to be a hunting rig project, but I lost interest. The blueing is in rough shape but there isnt any deep pitting.the wood is in pretty good shape with a few wear marks. It is in working condition. Looking for $425 but open to offers. Located in Williams but can deliver to phx 12/7.

I was lucky enough to join Robert and his dad for a quick day hunt. Spotted a few pigs late in the day. Robert made a great 175yd shot.

We have had a couple. Best one so far is the game saver model. The regular food saver has to cool down every few seals, the game saver doesn't.

I don't think they are a subspecies. I think you are thinking of the sonoran antelope. I could be wrong, but I think they are further south.

That is a tough hunt. It took us a few years to figure it out. Best thing to do is get in and fill your tag opening morning. The last 5 tags we have had we filled in the first 3 hours of the hunt. Once they get pressured they change their normal routine. Sounds like you did pretty good to keep on them.
