Wife shot this bull Sunday and we recovered him early yesterday. Ill post pics a a story later.

Our experience in 8 was better than any year I have ever seen. This weekend the bulls were vocal all day. Even opening day they were going until 10am

Another thing to check is the rings. I have had 2 sets of high end rings that when torqued to spec would let the scope move during recoil. Neither set would hold the scope tight enough.

Yup it was a little slow this morning but the wife still got to shoot at a nice 6pt but hit a limb. Hope the evening hunt is a little better. Still one of the best years I have ever seen

Anyone having any luck? We have been in the elk pretty much all day. Wife missed one last night and passed a small one today. The big guys stay just out of her range and the wind has blown several stalks. Its been great

Today has been the best day of elk hunting I have every had. Bulls screaming like crazy. We still havent sealed the deal but it doesn't matter. This is that day that you dream of all year. Just waiting for them to get up from their beds and its back on the hunt.

That is funny stuff. I called the same guys in twice. They sure had that truck roaring down the road to get to us before daylight. Those 2 were really tearing up that spot so we moved. We got tired of them running to cut us off every chance they got.

My wife has passed a couple small bulls. Didnt have a shot at a couple nice ones. Sunday she got a shot at a 320ish bull but no luck. The hardest thing for us has been the other hunters. I still cant believe the lack of respect from fellow hunters. Its been a great hunt so far and should only get better. Good luck!

She is shooting a couple of 2 blade coc heads to see what shoots best. Haven't settled on one just yet. She liked the gd but I am afraid they are too much for her setup on a big elk.

Not sure of the difference but I don't see deep six on the package.
