    brnton eterna 15x51

I bought a set last year, and really like them. I think I paid $300.00 from opticsplanet.com. For the money, I think they are a great deal!

    broadheads

Were did you find them for $19.99??? Redman Cabelas Bargin cave had the 85gr Tritons for $19.99 a few weeks back. I think they still have the XL's for $24.99.

    broadheads

I finally setteled on the Wac-ems after shooting several heads this year. I thought they were better built than the Strikers, and I got them for $19.99. So far they shoot great, and seem to hold up well. Slick Tricks were a close second, but I like the COC tip on the Wac-ems.

    First time with the cams

I get a lot of grass, shadows, and sunlight triggers on my Moultrie camera. I don't mind it though. It has a great trigger speed, and I get 6 weeks on the batteries and a 2 gig sd card. Thanks for posting some cool pics!

    Bear and bull vids

I set the camera to video mode for the last few weeks and ended up with 142 clips. My other cameras got hit by bears again. I think its time to invest in a bear box. watch the left side of the screen. Again watch the left side at the end of the video. I know a lot of you guys will know this bull. He gets around alot. I glassed him up a few weeks ago, and set up a camera to try and get his picture. We got 29 vids of him in 3 weeks. If he will just stay put till September....

    Bear

Well I still can't keep them from messing with my cameras. I did get a few elk, deer, and bears before they pulled the cameras off.

    Trail Cameras

I have had a few cams stolen over the past couple of years. I tend to stick to $100 or less for a camera. I really like the Wildviews for the money. I just picked up a cheap one at Cableas for $40. Moultrie makes a good camera for under a hundred buck too. One of the things I look for is the "3 shot burst" option. I really like the pictures those Covert II's take, but that is a lot of money to hang on a tree. Whatever you end up with I am sure you will enjoy the pictures.

    Pics from May

Well the bears chewed on 2 of my 3 cameras, but I still got a few good pics.

    Bear

The wind moved my camera enough that my batteries died in 2 days. I did get one good pic before they died.

    What camo pattern?

I only worry about how my camo blends in from 75yds or less. "Blackout" isnt really a problem at that range. I like Natgear, MO Brush, and Max 1 and 4.

    Thieves suck!!!

I am with everybody else, post the pics. A few years back there was a guy posted a pic on here of someone messin with his camera. Turns out I knew who it was, and gave the guy his name and number. I have had 3 cameras and 2 memory cards stolen. I hate thieves!!!!!

    WANTED: treestand

Hi, I am looking for another treestand I would consider almost anything, but would prefer a climber. I am not in a huge hurry, but would like to get one in the next few weeks. Let me know if you have anything you want to part with. Thanks!
  19. I had 2 cameras out for the last month. I had a few pictures on the first camera, but someone stole my SD card out of the other one. I was surprised to have someone messing with my camera on a trail over a mile off the road. I guess I have to worry about my cameras all summer now. I hate thieves!

    What arrow is better.

I like the Gold Tips also. If you shop around online you can find them a lot cheaper than Cabelas.

    Elk Video Question

thanks! I tried it in 2 players and both were the same. I will return it.

    Elk Video Question

Does anybody else have "Tricks of the Trade Trophy Elk Hunting" by Northstar productions? I bought this dvd last weekend at SW and you can't hear the guys talking in 80% of the dvd. All the "tips and tricks" sections are almost completely silent. I don't know if I got a bad copy, or if they are all that way.
