I'm not much of a Cabelas fan, but a buddy called this morning and asked if I wanted to go. He had a $50 gift card to burn. We looked around and he couldn't find any thing he wanted, so we hit the bargain cave. Neither one of us had any thing going on so we looked at every thing in there. We just about done when I see a slightly damaged and unmarked box, just brown cardboard. I moved a few things and opened the end of the box, score its a 10x14 kodiak canvas. We asked the clerk how much? To our suprise $370 , new never set up everthing still packaged. This is the only bargain I have ever found in the cave. I guess a guy needs to be a little nosey, and go through everything in there.

Awesome you cleaned up, I find my self cleaning up camp sites all the time these days. We dont even leave bones from our filled tags, we pick them up and find a discrete spot for them. Happy hunting.

I wish the clowns that target shoot in some areas would realize that. They probably don't contribute a penny to the environment!!! It's gated access.... it says no trespassing.... so that must mean its OK to go litter in the desert and shoot a centerfire rifle for fun across the flats hoping it won't hit anyone! on another note. This is on state trust, but there aren't any gates as its an access road to some houses a few mile up the desert mountains. it doesn't have any of the no trespassing signs either. Just a random no shooting sign. im not sure where you are at, some areas in north phx have been annexed by peoria and phx, so you may need to deal with city limits. Not sure.

My brother-in-law was burning brush in catalina when the fd showed up he talked to them through the gate. He told them he was cooking a chicken and they drove away. I probably wouldnt have that luck.
