Awesome you cleaned up, I find my self cleaning up camp sites all the time these days. We dont even leave bones from our filled tags, we pick them up and find a discrete spot for them. Happy hunting.

I wish the clowns that target shoot in some areas would realize that. They probably don't contribute a penny to the environment!!! If it says "no shooting" that just means no target shooting as well correct? This is on state trust, but there aren't any gates as its an access road to some houses a few mile up the desert mountains. it doesn't have any of the no trespassing signs either. Just a random no shooting sign. im not sure where you are at, some areas in north phx have been annexed by peoria and phx, so you may need to deal with city limits. Not sure.

I guess im the turd that used the"ethics" word . It was not used in any way regarding his hunt , im not the ethics police. I gave advice and he recovered his deer and so did other members. The ethic police have hit my threads too, oh flipping well. Happy hunting.

When I scout I look for water sources on maps and spend lots of time locating different ones. Some that I find may have a camera or not. To avoid problems I follow every game trail leading to the source. Then I find locations for cameras and try to set them up several hundred yards away from the source. I dont know if your setup is on water or salt, but you can always expect a problem on water. Good luck.

I had the same senerio this year on a mule deer hunt. I went back the next morning and was lucky to glass him up in about ten minutes. Rifle not archery, done deal the next morning. Good luck !
