So let me ask you this... Why try and talk up the unit if you hunt it? Most folks try to clam up so they don't advertise to the world how well a unit is and increase the odds more folks will put in for the same tag they want and in turn they end up having a much harder time drawing their coveted tag?

Killed... as in, the world record does not exist there anymore.... ...But that sure didn't stop a the hordes of folks running to that canyon for the next 4 years to try and find one bigger than him.

I can't say I agree with that. I put a Timney trigger in my Ruger M77 due to the poor one from the factory. A world of difference. Also if you are habituated to a Rem 700 safety you will bend over your trigger when you push that Ruger safety only to half safe. Don't ask me know I know, but i sold that Ruger due to that issue. I missed out on two huge deer cuz I couldn't break myself of that. But I still stand by that Timney trigger being far better than the factory one and it made that factory rifle shoot factory ammo like a tack driver at 500yds. Factory trigger had me all over the place.

I found the change needed and it's a simple DIY fix to have it so you can open on safe. I only used two tools, screw driver and file.

Thought I'd share some photos from our archery deer hunt in Colorado. It was an awesome trip and glad we committed to doing it. If you ever want to head off and hunt at 12,000 ft be prepared. It's a blast but if I hadn't have gotten in shape that would have not been fun at all.

well so much for trying to mislead folks.... Surprised no one asked where you can get to 12,000ft in SE Colorado. lol....

Yep it's still on for the 19th. I have a conflict with meetings after work and will not be able to attend. I was sure hoping it'd fall on another day. Please try and get as many bowhunting or archery buddies together to make the meeting. We need to show that there is a demand for the range. cmc

I think I should get royalties from Cole. I've actually gotten a few emails and PM's over the past year asking if I owned a taxidermy shop. I know some guys have used Cole and spoke highly of his work.
