We didn't got with the big group as we got down late and missed the group. Instead we joined up with a buddy of mind and his dog. We went to a spot he knew always has trash. Not the mother load by any means but two adults and two kids still filled up the back of a truck. Here is quick stop and a before we got to work... Here is the after... Once the truck was filled we piled it in and on top of my jeep...

We had a great time and boy did my kids put in some serious work. I'm very proud of them with all they did today. To top it off they won a Sportsman's gift card in the raffle today. They sure deserve it! I think we need to add Ranch Clean Up titles to the shits instead of just shed hunting... I put them in those on purpose so I could spot them as we wandered around picking up trash. By lunch one of the dumpsters was full... Awesome work with being short handed on turn out. My kids were zonked before we hit the highway...

I'm selling a PSE Bow Madness Left Hand 70lbs. Set at 29" draw but with the module you can adjust to fit without a press. Has a new aftermarket string on it. $400 bow only shipped to your door. What's included: string stop, peep, D loop What's NOT included: rest, sight, stabilizer and wrist sling. If you need it all let's talk. Wouldn't be heart broke to have to part with it all.

Did anyone attend the recent meeting regarding archery hunting closures in the Tucson Mtn Park? I unfortunately was not able to attend. Recent events in that area have reminded me that I failed to check in and see what those folks that attended walked away with from that meeting? Feel free to PM or email me if you'd like Thanks cmc

Well that explains as to why I haven't gotten an email back from someone.... he was up hunting kitty cats in the snow! Congrats guys those are some awesome cats! cmc

If you have completed the AZ course but can't find that Hunter ID number, contact the Phoenix AZGFD office asking to get that information. For CO, the COW advised me that you need to have your Hunter Ed Card on you while up there hunting, not just at the time when you apply, although required there too. cmc

He obviously doesn't guide in GMU 27.

Going out on a limb here and say he likes them.... But I'm not sure if the hat and shirt are enough to sell me on that. I can not wait till Jan. 1st...!

And you know they are bowhunting 'deer' for a fact how? I say that as I can bet there are a few folks that have me on trail cams around the state with my bow in hand... but last I checked I can hunt coyotes, lions and bobcats outside of archery deer season. But one can bet I was caught on their 'deer' cams so I'm labeled as hunting out of season. I wouldn't go jumping the gun unless you know for sure the animal they are trying to harvest. Not that I'm trying to defend anyone but I'm not about to call them poachers just because they have bows in the area 'you' are trying to chase deer. Then again.... they sure could be hunting deer in a closed unit. Who knows. cmc

We have determined that the Encore break action setup for my wife isn't the route she wants to go. Thus that leaves me with a few barrels I don't need in my gun safe. 7mm mag is sold... Not suite sure I'm ready to part with the .243 Stainless Steel 24" Bergara barrel yet but if there is someone needing it bad I can be swayed quite easy. Again about a box through it to sight it in and hunt with it one time. I would also include the SS scope base that's on it. - $200 - you pay freight. Also sitting in there is the 12ga blued T/C barrel, but that's her current turkey gun and we haven't figured out what the replacement would be. With two turkey tags in her pocket right now I can't part with it till I know what she'll use instead. If you're looking for such a barrel contact me. I bought it used and wouldn't be asking much for it. I'd put you on the first to contact if we opt to sell it. No trades at this time - I needs the cash. cmc

What's wrong with the 4500?
-
I sent a pack back without any issues. I called the main number off the web site and got my RMA number. Sent the pack in and was sent the pack back repaired at no cost. The lack of contact seems odd and much different than I experienced. cmc

OTC tag or did you draw for one of the southern units?

Maybe we should promote the advocacy of how close can you shoot a coues deer? Appears it's far easier to shoot and kill a trophy coues deer with a rifle at 600yds, than at 60yds. We hear proven cases here and countless other sites of so many skilled marksmen that can kill a trophy coues deer at over 600yds, with a rifle. Ok how many routinely do that at 60yds? Not trying to be a smart **** here but looking at it that previous posts and threads over the years most stand proud of their accomplishments of taking a great dear at far reaching distances? How proud would you be to sneak into 60yds on that same deer and kill it with that rifle? If your up for challenging yourself each year, change it up and try testing yourself on getting close. Rather then saying next year I'll see if I can shoot 700yds, I say try taking yards off each year. But what fun would that be right?

Lance that meeting was tonight.... I had a conflict and couldn't make it.

I would verify with the Pima County Parks and Rec that you have the right map and please be very respectful of the private property in the area. In my opinion we are on the verge of losing that area to be able to hunt. To be honest there are some great hunting areas just as close with the same quality and quantity of game without the hassles of private property and the massive amount of hunters. cmc
