Here's a pic of one of those coydogs. We should have had a couple more from this pack, BUT two other guys missed there dogs . This one was from our first stand and we called in a pack of five. The one that Ernesto missed four times had alot of white on it. Next season Ernesto is going to get his first bobcat down there. The ranch is my own little piece of predator calling heaven. The other pic is of the best stand I have ever had we called in two coyotes and a bobcat within twenty minutes it was awesome. I think it was the day Ernesto left to come back home

Was able to make a couple stand on thursday and friday a.m. looking for mainly felines, but couldn't resist when I had three greys on one stand within five minutes. I hit all three, but only found two on thursday. On friday I called a pretty male in and was able to get him in a big canyon. They sure are alot of fun to hunt, but I would highly recommend using a shotgun instead of a rifle.

Instead of eating lunch today I made a nooner stand. After changing to my third sound at the 12 minute mark this tom charged to within a few feet of the Minaska M-1 and the Nova barked some #4 buck, and the cat was down. Midday stands are treating me pretty well this season.

Amanda we need to go calling in that creek The ringtail is neat. Do you see many of those when you are out. I have only seen two in the dark while driving. And also one that was in a live trap. It was living in Pat Bernards attic. A ringtail is on my list of critters to take while calling. Great video!

Made a bunch of stands yesterday with my buddy Chris and the only thing we could muster up was this pretty male grey.

Way to go! What the heck did he shoot it in a tree. Proud of old SallyBalls for putting the smack down on his first cat. Just bummed that I gave up my seat in the truck. I better get a big thank you from you Sal.

Well done! There is always something special about calling in a bobcat. Once you get the first one they will start showing up more often. Especially when you start to target them. Sounds like you are doing just that. Fur looks real nice still. congrats on a great trophy. Josh

Got the itch to make a couple stands this afternoon once the rain stopped. Went to an area that I thought would be holding a cat. This is what I found.

Better yet Amanda I am going to set up with my caller and 12 gauge tomorrow and see what comes by. This particular wash is so full of scat piles I could hardly believe it.

Ah yes spring time. But I'm still chasing the kitties so this is what I smelt.

I know what Gus would do to that dog. Call us up and say he called in some sort of coyote/canine mix and then dispatched it with his sharp shooting skills.

Blake, I change my sounds on almost every stand. Unless I have a critter that comes in fast. I use to change after ten minutes, but this year I change about every five. Sometimes I keep with the same type of sounds for example three different cottontail sounds just with different pitches. I think this sometimes will trigger a cat that maybe hung up. I have also called coyotes and fox after running one sound for a while then change and within a couple minutes the predator comes in. Josh

Made a couple midday stands and on the first stand had this coyote come in fast. She locked on to my Predator Supreme decoy and that was the last mistake she ever made. Some 4 buck out of the 12 gauge did it.

That is on my wish list of critters to call in. An awesome predator hunter in southern AZ had some really cool video posted on predator masters of a badger he called in. It was really neat to see how they charge in like little tanks. It also seems badgers can be found all over the state of AZ. By the way Tommy if you need a new friend/calling parter I will volunteer.

I had time this afternoon for one stand ,so I hit a spot that I had a cat come into before but did not get a shot at. Well this time it worked out perfect. I had just started the caller along with the whirling woodpecker when I was looking to my left I turned back to look at the caller and up on the hill out in front of me I noticed something as soon as I thought it was a bobcat it sat up and started in to the call hard and fast. I lost sight of it through the brush but caught movement and hit it with some #4 Buck. It is a nice mature tom with worn down teeth. It ended up being a great day before birthday present.
