My wife grew up around hunting but never seemed to go with the "GUYS." Now days she enjoys getting into the field as much as I do. She has yet to draw a big game tag but that will come. The picture on the right was just after I had asked her to marry me, what better time than opening day of Dove season.

Thought I would share a few pics cause I do enjoy everyone else's. 1st pic- I had this doe on camera for over 30 minutes and not once did I see her little fawn except for this one, kinda cool. I have had this smaller buck on camera all year The 4th and 5th pics are find the buck. This guy and his buddies just don't like getting on camera for me, hoping after my camera move, last week that will change. Seems like stink pigs in the pines are something you guys like so the last one is a find da piggy.

Id say your good, good luck on your hunt. My advice is get a good set of shooting stick that you can shoot from either standing or sitting.

FYI, I saw Bushnell is doing a trade in with game cameras. I was just about to throw mine away since it is broken and noticed they will take $30 bucks off a selected camera,when you turn a broken one in. I hauled out 100lbs of red trace mineral salt on Saturday. I wanted to get it in the ground before this rain hits all week.

IMO, you had better know that unit and those elk like the back of your hand if you get drawn. Multiple back up plans all depending on the weather before and during your hunt. I mean you need to know what the elk are going to do if the weather drops and snows the week prior to your hunt or on the other side, what to do if it is t-shirt and shorts weather. These hunts seems to all have little amount of hunting pressure so I'm sure just about any water hole would be available to sit if the weather permitted.

Great looking mass but doesn't look to have great length but mass is huge with antelope. This is a hard one but I guessing dang near 80

If you have a tag you need to shoot that buck. That dude is over 17 plus inches in length minimum, I look over tons and tons of bucks last year and that dude is easy BC caliber

What average joe said there are coues north of stoneman lake rd but not a lot of areas to get up high and glass and not the numbers like the southern portions of the unit
