Like many have stated welcome to the best hunting forum on the web especially when it involves AZ hunting. I picked up a bow about 5 years ago and have been an addict ever since, and I have not even released an arrow at an animal yet. I can give you some pointers on where to take your lab to get on some birds, send me a message. As my names says I love unit 6a so if you ever have any questions about that unit fire away.

From what I read it was a low burning fire(not a scorcher) that was mainly just burning the crap on the ground. The burn last year around Rocky park area and Rattlesnake quiet area seems to a very similar burn and it greened up really nice from what I saw. Did seem to push the animals out of that area for a bit. Rain makes everything better.

exactly what I was thinking ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^, variety of sauces, little of this, a little of that and a smoke break in between.

My Uncle is from Bakersfield and it's a way different view point than what is above and below them. The were trying to get California to be separated into different voting so the middle of California could actually have a voice. Lots of farmers, oil etc in that area.

Long story short I left a camera out in one of my honey holes all winter long. I had does on my camera pretty much everyday so I knew that during the rut, this spot could be awesome with bucks. I came back to check my camera only to find out that something is wrong with it and it only took three pictures. I had a monster buck rubs all around my camera but not one picture, grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Set out another camera and here are some of the pics. There are 4 bucks in both of those pics and my first ever bear on camera.

We started with the flimsy one and added all rubber tires and extended handrail. Ever since then we have not shot an elk we needed it for, kinda funny. The flimsy one the tires were shot after less than one hill. When I get back up north I can snap a picture of it if you would like,

Quit trying to give away my honey hole for ducks but I have helped haul an elk out of 4a.

What unit safe, lol its safe to say you don't have to ask me where I am hunting. As a crow flies from a quarter of mile to 20 miles or so away from Munds Park is where my grazing rights extend.

BowHunt I don't think it was the cold it still takes pics just three and then you have to turn it on and off. I sent it into Moultrie and they couldn't fix the issue so gave me a %50 off coupon. Ready2hunt Yes they are, I really want to move the tree but it seems the animals don't mind it. In all hine sight I put my camera way to close to the salt but you live and learn.
