Now that is just awesome. No buddy cares about the sheep lol

Exactly what I got drawn.

Well put DIY, I just take for granted I was taught how to do it correctly. I was just forced to do it all to the max and when I worked out we would mix up arms and back one day, legs another, biceps and tri another.

Nice good luck, Christina, my inlaws have a bunch of farm ground outside of Bloomington/normal. I got drawn for the buck and a doe hunt last year but they were hit hard last year with the blue tongue and the numbers were way down. This year they are rebounding nicely due to the tons of rain they are having. I Get daily game trail camera pics sent to me of some nice white tails. Get ready for a whole new style of hunting

Well said coues n sheep. Hands on and making mistakes is the only way to learn. Both sides of the animal are exactly the same so what u did on one side that might have been a bad cut or a mistake try on the other side to correct your problem.

When you are all ready to go hunting at 2:30am like was planned and it is now 3:19 and I am still sitting on my couch reading cwt.com. -
If you could PM me the general area so I can steer my cameras away from that area that would be great. If it was south of stoneman lake don't worry about it. If not I understand.

I grew up with a dad who told me if I had a cut to rub some dirt on it, do you think I had ear protection? lol. I now use it when bird hunting but never when big game hunting.

So sorry James for your loss, losing a best friend is never easy. Hugs, lets stick a deer this year.

Heavy snow fall will kill the nutrients found in the food the elk graze, making them move lower to a better food source. Another factor is hunting pressure, especially in the late hunts. The big bulls tend to move to the steep canyons or heavy timber from what I have seen once pressured. I have been using google maps to find areas around the high pressure elk spots. Depending on what unit u have weather could be great or horrible. Some units as, you can read off the game and fish website, the elk move out of the unit due to the snow. Other units can see a jump in their elk numbers due to the migration.
