We are more of a story and picture group around here, but cool video and thanks for sharing.

Lots of does in a remote area, which in that area you are not seeing any signs of other humans = Big Buck has to be somewhere around that area good luck and shoot straight.

Dude online I saw Club box seats were going for $42,000.00...........I dont care if you're a millionaire but 42k is ridiculous for a world series seat.. Heck I guess if someone was buying me the ticket I'd even sit next to Kim Kardashian. ^^^^^ That's funny. My wife is a huge Cubs fan and I have never seen her cry so much when they clinched to go to the world series, Dont even wanna imagine whats it going to be like if they win.... Being born and raised in AZ i could always count on Harry Carey calling a Cubs game on WGN during the day, so while im not a crazy fan I do enjoy watching them do well. Wife gets hammered watching the games and when they win ....................... Happy wife happy life.

Where are you located and is this a short bed ?

I believe it nothing amazes me any more in 6a. Last year I saw a a truck full of guys spot lighting as they drove out in the am. Three gun barrels up out of each window. Found a dead cow right off the side of the road two years ago during the late rifle bull hunt. See post about Found Dead Cow Elf. Lol I actually saw a guy cut the fence into rattle snake quiet area to retrieve his downed elk. We called g and f and he was waiting for him at the cut fence on his way out. The officer told us the guy shot the bull the day before and didn't even gut the elk. I could go on and on. Guys like that dude you ran into give all us hunters a horrible name.

As stated above weather is everything for these late hunts. I can't tell you the last time I wasn't in 6a for a late elk hunt. Shoot me a Pm with any questions you might have but with all the areas that you have mentioned mostly all hold elk. There are elk all over Apache Maid and I feel lots of hunters hunt that area because it is more wide open than most areas in 6a. You can get up on Apache Maid mtn and glass in a 360 radius and see elk in every direction some days.
