Got the invite to go to my uncle's beach house in Coronado Island and do some deep sea fishing on his boat. We got our first hookup about 10 miles off shore which were few smaller Dorado and yellowtail. Spent most of the morning looking for kelp paddies. The mexican navy was out in force so make sure you have all proper license's and Id's because they will take your boat. Here are a few pictures and yes my left leg looks huge cause you have to have your license on you at all times which was inside my huge wallet, lol.

Eating fish that doesn't smell like fish or taste like fish will never get old. I will put fresh fish against any other freshly killed animal, even tasty backstraps or mallard.

Yeah those dodos were on a wide open bite most of the morning. We were just paddie hunting and using live bait. Lots of what they were calling "Doritos" were caught, 5 lbs or so. Had a boat tell us he had caught a few dodo's less than 2 miles off shore. For how bad the fishing has been the last few years, this should help the charter boat economy.

OOOO boy bet you can't wait now. Great bucks and that spike sitting down is what my grandpa would call a shooter size bull, always wants me to shoot the ones with horns smaller than their ears cause they taste better.

Great looking bulls, seems like so many elk this year have a little extra trash. First one looks around 310-320 ish. The second is a little smaller than that since he is only 5 points on on one side not including his trash points around the eye guards and less mass and length than the first bull. Thanks for posting the pics honeslty my favorite game to play guess the score of bulls.

There has been FS on the roads from munds park to morman mountain every weekend. They have been giving out free maps and advice. I have seen them ticketing both campers and people using the roads that are closed. With talking with one FS member they were giving lots of tickets for is this whole 30 feet or 300 feet camping. Best advice he gave was have one of them follow you out to your camping spot if possible. I feel having a camp less than 30 yards off the road is a safety issue, i hope im wrong. Regardless good luck to those camping and using the roads cause nothing is marked. Two of my favortie roads I now get to walk down which IMO is how hunting should be, too many roads no safe place for animals.

Driving up to my cabin in pine wood and saw 2 real nice bucks off the I-17 right near mile marker 269. I don't have a tag for that unit but thought I would share the info.

Bet that outfitter wont be back. Just unreal how some people treat other people's property. I hope for some street justice for this so called outfitter.

An absolute monster

Day 6 of the hunt and my hunting buddy is wearing all my clothes cause he is out, also borrowing my extra pair of gloves, usually lost between day 1and 3. That being said I would not want to hunt with anyone else.

That should be shown and talked about on national news way more than any of these crazies killing innocent people.

Looking to buy a middle of the line spotting scope. If anyone has one collecting dust and wants to get rid of it, I would love to take it off your hands. Max I can afford is 500.
