Hey I was a poor college student as well I played baseball all throughout college and barley had time to hunt let alone work, I just have a golden horseshoe up my A**. I have a cabin inside of Munds Park so I do most of my hunting in the northern part of the state. I have shot a few mearns quail near Tucson but thats about it for hunting down south. I don't stray far from 6A, I seem to be able to hunt everything within 30 miles of my cabin. Every year I put in for elk & deer and as you can see I do my fair share of bird hunting. Elk hunting is my passion, I try and at least hunt a week a year with someone or have a tag myself ( OTC depredation hunt tags). Here is a OTC bull shot last year, I had no part in that bad caping job.
That was from the late rifle hunt in 6A we had three 6x6's down on the first day but it took us two days to get them off the mountians . Here is a picture of all the bulls but one which was shot on the last hours of the hunt.
Love the Git er Dun picture, here is our method.
People hold their downed elk or deer in ways that make them look like a monster, this guy just did it with a snake. We all have taken a picture with a 3 lb bass but hold it out infront of your body it looks like a 9 pound lunker, either way that rattler would be good eating.
