If you already have a passport, its pretty simple to do it through through the AZ MVD website. Took about 20 minutes. They did want an upload of the passport. Probably a different story if you don't have a passport.

They were produced as part of contracts or export runs for various countries like Syria, Egypt, Iraq, Etc. Chambered in 8X57 mauser. Still preserved in cosmoline, this one is in excellent condition. Mcmillan A2 inletted for a LA post 64 Winchester model 70. 1 Pc floorplate. It had been bedded in the past and most of the old bedding has been removed. It would be a good idea to have it re bedded before shooting. Olive green Edge fill (weighs 2 lbs as pictured) 13.5" LOP Barrel channel looks to be a mag profile. I picked up an almost finished American Walnut stock for a post 64 LA model 70. For an indoor summer project, I plan to refinish it and try my hand at checkering. Problem is, I don't have a rifle to fit it! I'm open as far as chambering, however 6.5mm and .257 bores would be my preference. Obviously, I don't care about the shape of the stock. Not really concerned about the finish as I can cerakote if necessary. I can buy outright or trade. Shoot me a PM with what you have. I'm also going to insist on a FTF deal only. I'm not interested in sending your "friend" who has exactly what I want, funding, in hopes of a rifle being sent to my FFL.......... I'm in Tucson, but I have a lot of free time coming up and can meet most anywhere in AZ.

I thought I was going to work on this over the summer, but honestly, I have lost interest. Here's what I want to offload: Erfurt 98 Mauser barreled action (Chambered in 8X57 Mauser) Military barrel that has had a front sight installed. Bore is shiny and looks good. Sporter bolt handle has been installed. It has also been drilled and tapped for a receiver sight. Walnut stock to fit the action. About 90% finished. It has been notched to accommodate a receiver sight. No recoil pad, but 14.25" LOP there is plenty of room to cut back and add one. 22" barrel threaded for a 98 mauser chambered in 243 WIn. Nice bore, but the muzzle is boogered up where a sight was likely removed. $200 for the barreled action $75 for the stock $50 for the .243 barrel Take everything pictured for $250 North of Tucson.
