I'm selling this to ease the pain of truck repairs. Remington model seven: -Blued, walnut -18,5: barrel -shows moderate wear, scratches in stock, ding on the floorplate. I have only run a few loads based on an 80 gr sierra and varget. Shoots at or better than MOA. -Tally LWs -Leupold 2.5-8X36 Vari-X III Rifle alone: $450 Rifle, scope, and rings: $700 Rifle is located in the Tucson area. Any shipping is the buyer's responsibility. I probably should cash this out, but I am a sucker for a good trade. Currently looking for a scope for a 7RUM. (30mm tube, MOA adjustments, and 20X or better on the top end.)

After not drawing a Jr deer hunt last year, but enjoying success on a leftover Javelina tag, we were excited to have drawn a 12A west Jr tag this year. The hunt didn't start as well as we would have liked. On the way out of town, my pickup was giving us trouble. Rather than take a chance, we limped back to grandpa's house and loaded everything into his van and then dropped my pickup off at the shop. We didn't leave Tucson until shortly after noon. 9 hours later we found our spot outside Jacob lake and set up a quick camp in the dark. Opening day, we saw several deer, however we couldn't get a shot off as by the time she was set up for the shot, the deer became savvy and bugged out. We didn't see as many deer on Saturday, but we did manage to find one that hesitated long enough for Grace to take and make the shot. She is now 2 for 2 on her big game tags. I told her not to get used to it as I come home empty handed more often than not. Nonetheless, she is already talking about a next year being her year to draw an elk tag!

We are having our family dog euthanized this afternoon (cancer). We're pretty emotional right now. If this pup is still available after a few days, I'll give your friend a call.

$700 price now includes RCBS dies, 50 peices of primed, resized .338 WM brass (ready to load), 2 boxes of hornady 270 gr SPs plus a smattering of 300 gr lead cast bullets with gas checks and 350 gr barnes solids. Die set alone set me back over $100.

The rifle is north of Tucson (Catalina). Casey, I had it put together about 4 years ago and did the Cerakote last year. Other than a few range trips, it just sits in my safe. I was thinking it would be a fun elk rifle, but have used my 300 Win on my last three elk hunts. I'm starting to move the safe queens to make room for more toys!
