I'm looking for a first rifle for my daughter (She wants to start hunting big game and turns 10 this spring). She's very petite and a lefty. Ideally, I'd like to get into a left handed Remington 700 or Savage 10/11 chambered in .243 or 7-08. However I'll consider any left handed bolt actions as the basis for a build for her. Would also consider a youth sized single shot. I have cash and several things to trade. Thanks

I have a couple of items that need new homes. Browning micro adrenaline left handed youth bow. 30-50 lb adjustable weight, 19-24 in. draw length. (right now its set at 19 inches and 32 lbs) Complete with quiver, sight, arrow rest, and stabilizer. Very nice bow. Almost new. $100 Next, an American Arms PX22 semi auto pistol. .22 LR. 7+1 capacity. Excellent condition, less than 50 rounds through it. $180 Both items are located in Catalina, north of Tucson.

I traded into this rifle and really don't need it at this time. Ruger Hawkeye stainless chambered in .280 Remington, synthetic barrel, 22" light contour barrel. Very good condition. Trigger feels good. I don't have a guage, but I'd guess right at 3 lbs. The rifle is used, but no major flaws that I cold detect. Previous owner told me that he used it on two deer hunts. Round count is under 100. Previous owner fired it 70 times and I shot it 6 times earlier today. Both three shot groups were right at an inch with Remington factory 140 Gr ammo. I'm sure good handloads will bring out even better groups. $575 shipped with a pair of Ruger SS rings. $550 FTF and I'll toss in a box of ammo. Trades considered. SA Remington 700s, Scopes, Binoculars, Spotters, and probably many other things I can't think of right now.

I am in need of a short action 700. I have enough long actions.
