    I redeemed all of my bass pro shops points on this over the summer.  Took it out of the box once to look through it in my backyard.  I did not take it hunting at all this year.  

    It is a big spotter and I realize that I don't need this much glass for the hunting that I do.  

    As new with box, cover, paperwork, etc.

    I took this off a rifle I purchased earlier this year (Savage model 12) in favor of a more traditional stock.

    Choate stock for 2nd Gen short action Savage (10, 11, 12, Etc) 4.275" action screw spacing

    Update:

    I inquired about the armslist Enfield.  Fellow says that he does not post on this forum. 

    Also see that all of Gothaam's other posts here are responses to WTB ads.  

    Dude seems to have a lot of things that people are looking for......

    Just upgraded Junior's shotgun, so this one will not see much use.

    This has been my son's shotgun for 7 seasons.  He has killed a ton of dove, quail, and rabbit with it.  Unfortunately, we couldn't find turkey with it both times he had a tag.

    Its a remington 870 express Magnum in 20 ga.  It will handle 2 3/4" and 3" shells.  Comes with Full, Modified, and IC chokes.  

    13.5" LOP

    21" barrel

    Functions flawlessly.

    Show signs of use, but overall very good condition.  

    $350 FTF in Catalina, OV, or north Tucson.

    Shot placement is critical with any chambering.  I would rather a double lung or shoulder shot on an elk with a .243 than a ham shot with a 338 WM.

    A 243 with a premium bullet such as a partition or monolithic at 2900-3100 FPS will will be just fine for elk.

    I know I'm in the minority here, but I detest brakes on hunting rifles.  They add length and weight to the rifle, and make hearing protection and absolute necessity for the hunter and party.
