Do AZ bear Hibernate? PA Black bear don't truly hibernate Their pads are soft ? I have never herd that. If I was going to call San Carlos it would be up in the high elevations around the to old ranches and the lake thats up there. distress sounds will work , And no you don't need to be a expert caller

thanks bowhunter i will let you know. my computer just freezes up every time i try and open up a PDF on the AZ fish and game sight. going to try to arrive a couple 3 days early to do some scouting. thanks for your help love the sight so far lots of info and i will be doing lots of reading thanks again and best of luck this year

thanks, so even though i have my AZ lic and tag for achery deer i can still apply for a gun tag or grab a leftover if any. i understand about the one buck ether gun or bow its the same here

I am planing on driving out from PA by myself to hunt archery deer. I am going to hunt 36C and I think i am on top of the tags i need .................. I need my lic and the deer tag. I have a hard time with AZfish and game sight so I like to ask you guys a question. I can only get a bow tag for deer? You cant hunt deer in AZ archery season and also get a gun tag? Its one or the other right? Here in PA we get a general hunting lic and a archery stamp if we like, Having the archery stamp also allows use to hunt the bow season and gun season . . we are only allowed one buck per lic year. so once you fill your buck tag bow or gun your done unless you choose to hunt does. just 1 buck a year. So with me getting my general AZ hunting lic and my ether deer bow tag this eliminates me from gun hunting right? Thanks Big George in PA I am shooting for getting there for the opener.
