Boiling water is probably #1. If that can't happen, then iodine tablets work good. Katadyn ceramic filter is excellent for a length of time if the tablets don't work or are expired. After the ceramic filter, the ultraviolet light Steripen is a good idea. As the gentleman mentioned aboving, filtering through a handkerchief or something first is a good idea. If you are completely out of luck, with none of the above, and just need to survive, then drink flowing water and not still water. If you have no flowing water, then taking water from a place where it has filtered through dirt (ground) first and very recently is your best bet. It used to be ok to drink stream water, but nowadays pretty much any water can be risky. As the gentleman mentions above, bleach would work, but for someone who can't follow the instructions of "drops", and misreads the directions, it'd be a bad idea. Lonne

I don't think it's game and fish in this case. But I could be wrong (I don't know the situation you mention). It seems like the government is selling more land to real estate investors who then resell it to housing developers...There is an entire large desert flat near my house, with lots of yotes and some javelinas running around. I enjoy going out there. It was state trust land. But recently I see signs that the land is up for sale by the government so they can raise money...we all know how government is wasting our money. Then they're gonna build more houses and keep spreading out and spreading out so that Phoenix is gonna be like L.A. Heck, it already takes me an hour to drive to my three sisters' houses who all live on the opposite side of town...we're just eating up the animal's habitat. The guy I'm renting my house from isn't even in America...

I haven't had any luck and noone I know has. But it's fun to get out.

Anywhere the city ends and touches the desert, there will be yotes.

My niece is a dog lover, and an absolute an expert at getting good dogs good homes - her company finds dogs homes. She got us our dog and he is great with kids, most well behaved dog I've ever met. As well as many other people. Please private message me your email address, I'll have her contact you, and hopefully we'll be able to figure something out. I've sent her this post and she thinks she can help but she has a few questions. They look like good dogs. Me being her uncle, I don't want to give her number out. She will contact you. Thanks!

Looks like a total blast!!! Thanks for sharing!!!! Very unbelievable pristine looking mountains, lake, creek!!! Definitely a good thing no tumble was taken down one of those ravines and glad to hear you are OK there on the black eye, yikes. What bullet is that by your paracord bracelet? Looks like a fun side excursion to one of the awesome Colorado breweries also.

If Hillary or Sanders gets in or any of those liberals we can bet they will be going big time after ownership firearms much more than they already are, and they've already started their aggressive push with Obama at the helm. That guy Jay Parini posted some article and it was the most ridiculous uneducated idiotic anti gun ownership article I've seen in recent times...we need to start fighting against all this, even more than we already are, and we need to have started that battle yesterday...make sure folks you know are voting b/c every vote will count against another 4-8 years of this mess This is the crap that guy is writing: There is no safety in gun ownership. Only threat. So let's get rid of guns in this country, once and for all, making it a felony to possess a handgun or assault rifle. Over a period of years, illegal guns will gradually disappear. Guns don't kill people, as they say. People who acquire guns -- legally or illegally -- do. And we should make it extremely difficult for them to get their hands on these weapons.

Goose down jackets are great. Problem is - usually the material rips real easy when used for something rough like hunting, or if it gets wet you are in trouble there. Better for packing bc it is lightweight but can't handle making your way through thick brush. Filson Double Mackinaw Cruiser is nice. It will cost a penny. It may itch, mine doesn't itch bad. The Jac shirt is also kind of nice as a "jacket" but its not heavy. Keeps you warm when wet. For when it's icy and wind chill factor is high just throw on a scarf. Wool Packer Coat if it gets really freezing, but that's probably overkill.

Expected to work all weekend and not informed about it until 5:30pm on a Friday. Expected to respond to emails at all hours. Expected to join meetings with last minute invite during lunch hour. Expected to take calls on vacation. Expected to attend meetings where there are 20+ people and nothing efficient comes out of it. And simultaneously get work done, while being able to recite minutes of the meeting. It seems like anything goes anymore, it's crazy. LOL. The facts are: if there is no work / play balance, it is not a healthy company or environment.
