    Rage hypodermic

This is probably going to be my new head. Maybe the ulmer's, but I have had nothing but great results from the rage's. hard to walk away from something that works great

    Recall McLame

I read something the other day about Russia is just tired of the US butting in every time we don't approve of another countries leader. Not sure how much of that I'm buying, but the truth be told, I can care less about those countries! I don't care if they want to blow each other up, gas each other, shoot e everyone, I just don't care right now! Or probably ever! They hate us over there, and we have enough problems of our own right now! Good for Russia and china for stepping in to stop King O!

    Elk in Pinyons/Junipers

Treemarshal I sometimes fly over units right before shed season. Yes it is beneficial!!! It's not a great way to find that certain animal your looking for, but in general you can find out where the bulls/cows are at. Plus it's a riot just flying!

    Lifetime license

Awatson it's actually not that easy! I remember when I was guiding on a hunt in 5b years back G&F raided the camp right next to ours. They had been watching a guy and as soon as he harvested his elk, they arrested him. He lived out of state but did exactly what your saying! If I really do this I will have to truly move to AZ, get a drivers license, pay bills and pay my state taxes! I'm just really lucky with my job that gives me 2 weeks a month off, well most of the time. So I wouldn't have to find another job while there. My company would pull the taxes for the state I'm living in, not working in. So it would be a little easier for me than a lot of others. I read something on their website about a new formula for lifetime licenses, so I'm thinking I will at least wait and see what that's going to be first.

    Lifetime license

I apologize to Flatlander and anyone else who might take offense. I will choose a little better term next time. Sorry Lance I think that's why I use that word too much! The ex's term for me

    Lifetime license

Flatlander the 20% pass to max point holders is what I'm referring too. Which keeps any NR with less than 12 points from EVER drawing a few of the best tags in the world. And I take it you don't know the definition of retarded? It's NOT a person, just to give you a hint! Lol
  13. Hornhunter247

    Lifetime license

I guess I'm more interested in getting passed the retarded 20% that AZ does now. I'd really like to know I have a chance in every unit, every year! But the cost savings would be pretty huge over the next 35+ years of applying.

    Correction period eliminated

I was really hoping that this rule would change the way they do their calendar year. I'd love to see the jan hunts included in the previous years license now.

    Correction period eliminated

Have you guys not ever bought a license online? It's a piece of cake, takes about 5 mins, that means no more waiting in line, waiting for a clerk to show up, find the book, look at your license for 15+ mins and then trying to find stamps and other extras we always want! Online is the way to go. There is nothing difficult about it! Not so sure about the correction period change or trying to obtain payment 3x's. going to be a lot of complaining about that later on.

    Ulmer Edge

Always stick with what works! I've seen plenty of big bulls killed with mechanicals. It's all about shot placement no matter what head you use.

    Need some advice

You know it's public land right? I love hearing guys talk about "hunting ethics" in these kinds of posts! I hope your just being a troll trying to stir the pot lol. But let me tell you about a scenario I found this year in a unit I hunt. 3 miles from the nearest road I found a tank, a perfect secluded elk honey hole! Well in this perfect spot some one has hung tree stands in the only trees that are suitable for a stand, and padlocked them up so no there's can use or remove them. Well next year when I draw this tag, I am going to cut all of the trees down so that this guys tree stands land face down in the tank! And I'm going to hunt it! I talked to the forest service and was given the thumbs up with this plan seeing as he locked them on to the trees. Stands and cameras give you no right over another! But good luck with your spot!

    Unit 8 October Tag

I ended up taking a low 80's buck. He was by far the smallest of the 3 I found. But I wasn't going to pass up any mature buck on my first coues hunt I need to post some pics I guess lol
  23. Hornhunter247

    Unit 8 October Tag

I had the dec hunt there last year. The G&F site was spot on for finding them! I saw coues every day of the hunt, but only 3 bucks in 7 days (all were big bucks though). I found the best success by sitting on the canyons and glassing for hours on end. I'd maybe glass from 3 different spots per day and was able to pick them out pretty good by the end of the hunt. It is one tough hunt! Even in dec! Good luck to you, there are some giant wt in there!
