So I'm looking at adding a Kenton speed dial turret to my viper scope. Does anybody use the speed dial? If so how do you like it? I know that with these turrets your stuck with a specific altitude, but I dont think the difference would be too bad with my 7mm for the difference in altitudes I usually hunt. Any other input on this would be appreciated.

I just bought the basic, it has two doors and two windows( window,door in each side of tent). The doors are just canvas with no mesh window. I think the delux has the mesh window on the door(= 4 windows) as well as the vents in the corners.

im in for the recovery Only if you have your medical marijuana card. I've packed in a few miles at the end of summit road to the east along the border. Lots of deer I would do it again. I probably wouldn't go to the west off of summit the traffic was higher.East of Summit is worse than west as far as smuggling goes...It seemed to me that west was worse. With the more organized traffickers. The standard border crossers do not bother me at all. It's the ones that are dealing with other peoples money that I watch. Anyone ever hear of a hunter being hurt/threatened by a border crosser?If you look back at some old posts there's story's of it happening to people on here.

Not sure where you live but at my old house I had a mesquite tree that I would throw all my dink deer and javelina skulls in. Just kinda put them where ever they fit. I liked going out there every now and then and looking at them and remembering the stories about them.

Agree with everything above. Iv hunted it two times. Last year we stayed two nights and had illegals come through both nights. Plenty of deer but I wouldn't trophy hunt this unit. Lots of people. With that being said if I don't draw my first couple choices(I'm sure I wont) I'll be down there again.
