They still do the prisoner horse program. There's one in Florence, and a few others spread out between Nevada, Utah and Colorado I believe.

If any of you guys get the oct. 36a tag I'd like to know where some of you guys camp. I'll most likely be camping alone half the time down there and would like to at least be with in ear shot incase I need more amo in the middle of the night. -
My freezer is getting a little empty, looks like it's time to go horse hunting again. I think this time I'm going to get one of those real pretty paint mares. Or maybe a young colt, I hear their real tender.

Best rifle cartridge for open terrain - Unit 21 Whitetail hunt

I really like my 243, I don't reload but it really likes hornady ammo. I shoot 95 gr SST superfoance and it usually is a one and done deal. It's pretty consistent shooting milk jugs at 500 yards. -
Same hunt as you lookinfor110. Not my preferred unit but I'll hunt the heck out of it.

That's why the outfitters love it. People panic and go to them.

Looks like we're going deep!

I kinda thought you had a couple good ideas.....

When I was younger my family used to only hunt off of horses. I haven't done it in a while, mostly because I hunt different areas. When I was in high school I was hunting alone in 37b, I jumped a deer and got off to shoot... Deer went one way and the horse the other. Did a lot of tracking that day but ended up with both at the truck by night time.

18-24 shots is not enough IMO. For me there's two different reason to shoot. One is to sight my bow in and the other is for practice. If I'm sighting in my bow then I'm trying not to shoot much because I don't want my form going bad as the session goes on witch affects how I sight in my bow. If I'm practicing then I try to shoot as much as I possably can before I'm wore out, but I also understand that my groups may loosen and that does not mean that I need to adjust my bow it's just my fatigue. Me and my friends like to switch it up a little too like shooting at balloons or folded dollar bills, it forces you to try and keep the best form when there's dollars on line! And it makes it pretty fun also.

Might be a good place to start. [url="https://land.az.gov ^^ this. Also the game warden for the unit should know who it is.

That's pretty cool. -
I also single my pin and not my entire sight, I use a smaller peep as well.

So those prices mentioned above are per person, but does the price change depending on the group size? Like say 4-5 people is cheaper per person than 1-2, or does it even matter?

The frozen meat is still good to go. As long as the meat that was defrosted was still cool it's good, I just wouldn't re freeze it.

What's your location?

Gas motor I assume?

My brother lives in St. David and does bees. I'll pass your info over to him, I'm sure he'd me more than happy to come get them.

Even at $50 it's not too bad of deal. If you can stand getting up and bottle feeding at night and during the day. Still you have to anticipate at least a 50% die loss on day olds.
