Some how the stars were aligned this year for antelope. Drew this tag with 8 pts. Scouted hard for months finding a lot of bucks. Locating this buck again the day before and putting him to bed. To finding him at first light when it felt like every other tag holder was looking for this buck. To putting him down for one last dirt nap with a 240 wby. I've been blessed to say the least and am extremely grateful for the opportunity to hunt with my loved ones. It's been one of the funnest hunts I've been on.

He ended up scoring 82" and was 15 4/8" tall. He was big bodied feeding on mountain grass al summer weighed about 150lbs and he wasn't really rutting at all which was weird.

Thanks. It's got a 26" douglas barrel, Bell & Carlson stock, pillar bedded, trigger job etc, with vx3 4.5-14x50 LR with target turrets. I wanted to have a long range, flat shooting, and something that could push through the wind coyote and deer gun. I shot this buck with 100gr sierra bt's at 3300 fps. This load shoots lights out through it, so I stuck with it. I want to see if I can get the 90 gr scirocco's to workn but we'll see. I wanted to just try something different and I love it.

Predator do the foxs that you're getting have the uniball in them?

Those crew max's are hard to find with a bench seat like that as well.

People see what they want to see, and usually what they have is just a good as something that's supposed to be better. It's our natural pride. A good friend of mine has some nikon 16x50 $100 binos that he thinks are "barely" less than swaros. When we glass together he lasts about an hour before getting a headache or eyes are tired. I look through them and can see the a huge difference in all aspects. I'm not here to bring someone down because they don't own swaros or are less of a hunter. Those nikons work for my friend and that's fine. I don't try and tell him he needs to go to swarovski when he doesn't feel the need to, but when someone asks I'll give them my opinion. Also, I owned vortex and they are a good optic. I had some viper hds for about 3 years when a friend bought the same pair. I picked his binos up one day and thought they were clearer and sure enough he could see a difference as well. I called vortex and asked about the problem and they told me the coatings must be breaking down. Of course they replaced my lenses. My point is I only know one person out of many who went back to vortex because he thought the price wasn't worth it. I've read a lot of reviews on optics and I have done many comparisons myself and find the big 3 and even Meopta to be bether than Vortex. Dont get me wrong they're a good optic but it's just the difference between good, better, and best.

Pelican has a lifetime as well. -
It's a TS-32x1 reticle Here's a link aboit it http://bulletin.accurateshooter.com/2013/12/new-moa-based-ts-32x1-reticle-from-leupold/

Coatings on the vortex deteriorate after a couple years when the big 3 don't. And just the "slightest" difference makes a big difference when finding bedded bulls and bucks in the shade. Also 90% of the people that compare vortex and swaros that I've talked to do it during midday which most binos aren't going look too bad. But compare them on a cloudy day, sundown, or sun up and you'll notice a big difference.

Draw length is adjustable without press from 26"-30"

But pm me if you're interested in the Leupold.

Guys that are crazy about weight because every Oz does add up. The swaro is about 10oz lighter.
-
Preference I guess. Every eye is different. For about 2100 you could find a used hd swaro. 500 difference if you're planning on buying new vortex. I find the animals with 15's and then get a good look with the spotter. Very rarely am I glassing looking for animals through the spotter.
-
It all depends on what you're using it for. If you're doing a lot of pictures and video then yes. But if you're using it to look and animals and size up bucks and bulls then it is great.

I'm wanting a zeiss or a swarovski hd.

Mulepackhunter I'd sell you a Leupold 20-60x80 HD Boone & Crockett scope. I compared it to the razor before I bought and it's definitely clearer. Also about 5oz lighter. If you're interested.
