Bonecolletor he got a nice cow the last morning of the hunt. Pretty lucky considering it rained alot the day before.

Slim thanks for the info and advice. I will definitely pick up the book. I process my game but stick to roasts, steaks and jerky. I am hoping to have alot of Bison meat this summer so it seems to be a good time to add ground meat, summer and breakfast sausauge to my resume.
1/2 sounds like a good size for me but then bigger is better..

My buddy drew a July 21st - August 3rd cow tag. The adventure has begun.
I am the first Buffalo Assistant Helper in charge.
We are going to the AZGFD Seminar on December 17th.

The one time I fished in Rocky Point we drove past JJ's and fished on the bay side of a long point. We waded out in the water and caught some nice trigger fish and rock bass.
It was a long time ago but I think we bought some squid or octopus and fished with cut pieces on a rig similar to a flathead rig, egg weight/swivel/leader/hook.
My wife almost lost a finger when she tried to lip a trigger fish!

My first bull was very similar to this one. The horn was wore down at nose length.
The same unit in 1991, the Unicorn gene is strong in this unit.

I think they should go back to the one draw a year system so everyone would have to wait until late July to find out they if are going hunting or staying home. And paper. And making you pay a $5 fee if you didn't feel like speed dialing with 2 phones for 4 hours trying to find out.
Those were the good old days.
