It’s everywhere. People just don’t GAF!

I’m sure there were receipts in that trash. They hold a plethora of info. Would be easy to find them by any LEO if they were so inclined.

I have the Cabelas outfitter cot. Works great. Just an FYI, like a highway bridge, the cold air will settle under the cot. I’m sure you know, but in the cold you have to lay down a pad, blanket or something else on the cot to keep the cold off your back. I found out the hard way when I first used it on a javelina hunt in January. It was a miserable night! Lol

The fire was reported around 4:30pm.

You’re right Edge. That’s a road where a person really needs to lay off the throttle a bit. I did some research using the information from Inciweb on the fire location and the Coconico forest announcement of the 300 road closure between the 123 and 141 road. Reports said it was above Washington Park. Using that data as a starting point, looking at Google Earth, it appears the wreck happened at a dog leg turn to the right. Reports said they were traveling west on the 300 road. Either they weren’t expecting that dogleg turn or were traveling way too fast to negotiate the turn. Sad deal. Here are are the pics from Google Earth of that turn, from a birds eye to a 2D view.

The 300 road is insane when it comes to recreational driving. Not sure what it is, but people seem to think they are the only utv/atv/truck on that road. I've been forced off many time while in my truck. The weekends are the worst. Terrible deal all the way around. Thoughts and prayers to the family of those that died.

I love these threads. In my 50 years of being alive in this great state, I’ve been all over Arizona, but these threads always remind me that I really HAVEN’T been everywhere! Thanks for sharing. I think we should have a “Where Am I“ subforum here!

In the 70’s, Yellow Front was the best place for a kid looking for fishing gear and 22LR ammo!

It was a good thread until the resident troll jumped in. Too bad.

There you go! That did it! Thanks!!

Ok. I did that. It solved the topic from disappearing when I select unread content. Thanks! However the comment doesn't grey out. This is on the mobile platform. I'll keep playing around with it.

I concur. I’m getting used to the new format, but to me, this is the biggest feature that I miss from the old board. Clicking “activity” gives us too much info. It’s too busy to follow. Eliminate everything except topic titles and “activity” might actually be useful.

I prefer Dec/Jan hunts as they're more enjoyable! Both in activity and weather. There are 2 things that usually end my August hunt before tagging out: The heat and the bugs! This year, I'm going to move up a little higher in elevation to try and beat the heat. Bug wise, I found some odorless spray at Wally World I'm going to try. Although I'm a little weary even if it's says odorless. I haven't done much scouting this year due to work, family..etc, so going in somewhat blind. Fortunately I'm pretty comfortable where I'm going so I'll give it my best. Good luck everyone!

Man, I'm right behind you.

Click the Activity button upper left, then select All Activity. edit: on the mobile site select the three lines in the upper right.

One suggestion I have is change the font color on the secondary text below the topic line. I'm using the tan theme and the grey subtext is a bit hard to read. Otherwise the new format is looking good!

Yeah. I just logged on with my phone. Much easier to navigate compared to my iPad.

Got it. Thanks!

I can't seem to find it either. Someone help please!

Did you properly set up the focus on each? You have to set the focus for each eye seperately. Left eye first, right second. With right eye closed, focus left eye with center wheel. Then close left eye and focus right eye with diopter wheel. Then lock diopter. Your binos are now properly set up for your eyes when using the center wheel.
