Greetings everyone. Thought I would share my story with you. I was fortunate enough to get drawn for a late December whitetail tag. Opening weekend weather was brutal and did not permit any success. We returned the following weekend where my brother spotted this nice buck across a large valley we were glassing. I took off walking to try and get in position for a good shot. I was able to get about 300 yards away from the buck while my brother kept tabs on him. The buck had bedded down in ocotillos so I had to wait almost an hour for him to get up and move enough for a clean shot. He measures about 95 inches. A BIG thanks to my brother (CNape on the forum), my dad, and my son- on helping me take my first Coues! I couldn’t have done it without you guys!
