Nothing for me I drew last year for elk though so wasn't really expecting to. One good thing is I got my loyalty points back for antelope and elk! Didn't think it was gonna show up until next year. That puts me at 15 points for antelope now! And 3 for elk.

I agree with gotcoues. I think those guys at the top with most BP's deserve a tag more than some guys that drew last year or year before. I get tired of hearing "well what do you know I drew my third antelope tag in four years!" While some guys have waited 25 years to get to hunt antelope. I doubt they would ever go to the squared BP's but I would support it if they did.

They have all kinds of crazy rules. . If you take someone hunting and they pay for your gas or food it's considered illegal since you don't have a guide license. Anything for them to make an extra buck. Just do what you're gonna do with friends and those you trust and you will have nothing to worry about. When a stranger comes around wanting to be your bud and go hunting with you and tries to offer stuff then beware.

Haha sorry flatlander. . I did the same thing last year in my anatomy lab when I saw I got the 23N archery tag. I was trying to explain something to a lab partner when I looked and I couldn't even put together a sentence. I had to leave the room. As for last years elk in my avatar, that's why I wasn't expecting a tag this year. I'll gladly wait another 10 years to get a chance at another like him!I'll put up another pic of him for you Chris.

I would agree if he helped find it by glassing and got payed he would need the license. But if it's dead already and someone tells him to come drag it out of a canyon there is nothing wrong with that. No license needed.

Are you only wanting to hunt 34a? I don't know where az ground pounders hunt but they are great houndsmen and guides. Seem to kill every hunt. And they are a sponsor of the site. Look them up.

That's awesome Colorado has rules like that. That's how muzzleloader hunts should be! It's a "primitive" weapon so why should these muzzleloader guys be able to shoot animals out past 300 yards with them? And have scopes and basically have a single shot rifle because you can reload the things in about 2 seconds now. Every state needs to adopt those rules or just consider these muzzleloader hunts as rifle hunts because that's what it's turning into. Sorry for the rant just glad one state has it right.

I wonder if azgfd employees involved in the draw place themselves in the nut house after having EVERYONE call and ask them when results will be out. They will be out when they let them out and calling isn't gonna make it come any faster.

Never hunted 9 but that's probably the most popular unit I have heard about consistently producing big bulls. I think 1,27, 3c are going downhill. I'd put in for 4b
