You're probably right. After I shot him, he ran 100 yards, stopped and just stood there for 10 minutes then slowly walked away. The blood spot behind the shoulder was the exit hole and I shot him down hill so the entrance was a little higher. But it is amazing how tough these animals are and what they can endure.

We called him the "horseshoe bull" because he has a horse shoe shape between his fifth and main beam on his left side

Pics of wife?

You could find any of the bows mentioned above used on archery talk dot com for under a grand all day long

Hoyt Carbon spyder 34 long draw bow. I got a 31.5" draw length and that's what I shoot.

Hopefully I'm successful enough one day I can buy governors tags and get bashed from other hunters on web sites. That's a lot of money going towards a positive thing to help all of us hunters.

Does Working Out Help You Hunt Better?
longshooter replied to firstcoueswas110's topic in The Campfire
Yes, it definitely helps keep me stretched out and really helps with the back pain on those long days of being behind the wheel road hunting. -
Only one way to find out. Shoot both and measure both. That is a pretty cool pic

I'm down to 240 pounds at about 14-15% body fat from 258 pounds in the last 4-5 weeks. Been doing cardio for 30 minutes 6 days a week and hitting the weights every other day for 30 minutes. Haven't been tracking cals like I used to but averaging 2500 a day with a average of 80 grams of fat, 120 grams of carbs and 250 grams of protein. Will probably change up workouts and start carb cycling in the next few weeks.

That makes you a white man.

That's all I ever here from pit bull owners "sorry he's really a good dog" I've met very few owner with pits like you. Good for you on having properly trained dogs. I don't know why but it seems like 90 % of home owner with pits are like this guys dog backyard problem Thanks, I think its because the majority of their owners are minorities and trailer trash.
-
If the home owner does not comply quickly then you could probably track down his landlord and talk to them since the majority of the rental companies do not accept certain breeds on their properties due to liability issues.
-
I agree with you 100%. We have friends with properly trained pit bulls and they are a joy to be around. My post wasn't intended to be "breedist." The dog just happens to be a pit bull. Oh I know. Good luck on your dog problem.

Not all pit bulls are bad, but the majority of their owners have no business owning a dog that requires proper training and that needs to be spayed or castrated to keep their hormones down. We have 4 of them ranging from 3-5 years old that we have worked with and properly trained since they were puppies. They all have been spayed. Chipped and have had all their shots etc. We taken them to the dog parks to socialize with other dog's and different people. Never had a issue. They love kids and anyone who comes to the house. The first time one of them shows aggression towards a person that will be their last time. If you did your research you'd see that there is way more reports of dog bites from labs, cockers, German shepards and dalmations than pits. They are actually very intelligennt dogs who want nothing more than to please their owner.unfortunately they get in the hands of the wrong owners and that's the biggest reason they have a bad rep.

Sucks to be you! But you did have like what 6 weeks to apply?

I'd keep the bows and get rid of the wife! Both great shooting bows. I still have my old 2008 xl as my backup bow.

fixed blade or mechanical broad heads ?!?
longshooter replied to muledeerhntr's topic in Bows, arrows, broadheads
There is a lot of truth to that statement. I shot a good bull while hunting with elkaddict this last year with a brand new g5 striker fixed head broadhead. Shot him down hill right behind the shoulder at 62 yards. The arrow blew thru him and we all thought the bull was a dead bull. He ran 100 plus yards and stood there while we were able to get video of him. After 10 minutes, he walked off with a blood trail that dried up quickly to never be found again. Here is a pic off the video. The entrance was on his right side and if you look closely you can see the exit behind his shoulder. -
Or 3, get on the bicycle !
