Yea I was not pleased how they worded the email either with the "only 1% of the tags" and how they tried using scare tactics . This subject needs media attention to get the word out. Maybe a bunch of us get together and picket the state capital or fish and game ? what ever works

Thats the same thing I heard from a game warden a few years back. He also stated that once a gate has been locked for 2 years ? it then can be locked up for good according to that law. If that makes sense

They did the same thing on the north side of the white tanks a few years ago. I even saw a mcso officer put a lock on one of the gates that said " state trust land"

Few years back we were heading down a road while archery deer hunting. We came around a corner and saw a large bobcat fighting with atleast a 4' rattler. The rattler was striking at the bobcat and the bobcat was swatting at it. We watched it until the bobcat had enough and started walking away 20 plus Years ago I was hunting in aravipa canyon and watched a 2 point coues deer jump off a 100' cliff after my dad shot him. When we got down to the bottom the buck jumped up and took off running before he was finished off. Couessniper was actually a witness to that.

That buck is insane.

All of it.... between all of the az auction tags they generate at least half a million dollars on average. Is there a way to see where it truly goes? If I was the rich man buying that tag I would want to see that it was well spent on said mule deer habitat or new drinkers and so on. 220,000 will build seven new drinkers start to finish at 30,000 a pop. Times all these tags over the last decade.... quite a few million dollars all funding going to az? Where is all the progress? I read a lot of .com forums and see a couple of drinkers each year being fixed with the help of all you hunters like myself lending a hand to g&f and that is awesome! Where is the rest of the money going? Does g&f have to pay for lobbyists also? I understand that g&f does more than just that for a job,but they are a state funded agency which funds what they do 365. Just seems like a lot of dough without much show. Maybe I just woke up on the wrong side of the bed this am? I would like to know as well. Only thing I have noticed is a decline in the mule deer heard.
