My dad got me a 25-06 for my 8th birthday and it was a great gun for me.. Its a great gun for young kids to start with... I actually hunted with it for almost 20 years intell I got my 300 win mag.

+1 You need to shoot all of them you can get your hands on. What one guy likes may not be what you like. Shoot them all then buy a Hoyt Alphamax or Katera! Thats what I'm talking about. I have a newer hoyt Katera XL and made the mistake of shooting the new alpha max 35 the other day at corner archery .. So now I will be ordering a alpha max 35 as a back up

You just need to shoot a few and pick the ones that feels the best for you.. You can't go wrong with Hoyt, Mathews,pse and bowtech.. Take a look at the new Hoyt alpha max 32 and 35. Thats the new bow I will be ordering this spring. The new mathews monster is suppose to have a ibo of 360 fps ? I just dont know how forgiving it is and the hand shock with it. You can also do alot of research at www.archerytalk.com but that web site is very addicting and you will waist hours and hours there, lol

My buddy who lives on the white mountain fort apache res sent me these pics of a buck his son just shot not to far from were we hunt elk in the fall. I just wish they would sell tags like san carlos does.

That's why it's so good though. Could you imagine how much they could get for an auction tag though??? Yeah I bet they would get some huge bids on a auction tag... I have seen big bucks there while elk hunting, I have seen some sick sheds that have been picked up and have seen picks of the bucks my buddies have shot and its sick.. Seems like they have a bunch of non typicals there as well

I got laid off almost a year ago from a large framing company and started my own framing company up within a week. We had a awesome spring and summer but as soon as Sept-October came the bottom fell out on us and its been down hill ever since. Biggest problem that construction is seeing right now is the lending has tightened up and all the cash buyers are scared to spend a dime right now. The big question is , will the big bail outs the banks received help free up lending ?
