Finally got my charactor buck back. He is not a real high scoring buck but his mass and charactor make up for it.

I'm buying a new spotting scope and can not decide which one to pick from. My 2 pics are the Swarovski 65mm or the 80MM . There is a $400 difference between the 2 and 7 oz's. I know with the 80mm it lets in more light so you get a better view first thing or right after dark. I have used the 80mm before and have used the 65mm on seperate occasions. My question is the 80mm worth the additional $400 and 7 oz's compared to the 65mm ?

Call me dumb or uneducated but why would they close off unit 22 and 23 ? Closed off from all hunting ? -
Matt I would recomend getting that number from coues sniper. That guy can build a awesome gun.. I would go with a 300 ultra for a long range rifle. Also don't overlook the Kimber montana rifle

Incredible World Class Coues Whitetail Deer Mount
longshooter replied to AZP&Y's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Mexico
That thing is a donkey. and its bigger than coues snipers droptine buck Yeah I agree that they can get alot more than 10k for that mount. I have heard numbers on bucks of that caliber and they were alot higher than that -
The 30-378 is a awesome long range rifle.. Only negative I have heard about it is the price of ammo for store bought. As for as reloading I heard you the brass can not be reused to many times because of the necking ?

Cool pic jim. Hope you guys wack that cat -
Perfect, that is the one right there. Thanks for the link

Well apparently having (2) 65mm's is worth about 2 grand more and twice the weight. Plus a bracket. You always did make plenty of sense dude. Yeah but if you have 2 swaro's spotting scopes made into a pair of bino's you will not have to carry a pair of 15's besides kevin you already know when I hunt with you i don't even carry a pack because you carry enough in yours for 3 people.
-
Thanks for all the opinions. I will be going with the 65mm HD . My idea is to actually buy 2 of them and have them connected as a set of binos. I know a guide who did this and they seemed to work pretty well. Does any one else have experience connecting 2 swaro's together ?

Dude remeber when we were kids and used to hunt cats with the pellet guns in town ? I bet that fox pro and .17 would be a awesome cat hunting set up
-
You will have a blast with that thing, they are awesome... Maybe you can get some blood on your .17 now

Congrats on a awesome buck........

Cool find I hate lions. Seems like they mostly prey on the bigger bucks for some reason. Wonder if it has anything to do with most big bucks are loners after the rut ?

Does anyone know of a good gun smith on the west side of town ? Surprise, glendale peoria ??

I have 2 coues deer capes off mature bucks. 1 already has been salted along with the ears, lips and eye lids turned. These deer were killed in Sonora Mexico $100 each or both for $175 602-469-2254

Very funny coues sniper. If my memory is correct you were all over my Leicas like a fat chick on a donut when we were elk hunting. And don't forget I got proof that your not the sharpest broad head in the quiver. I have a pic that proves it. Lets see, you shoot a gaurdian, have a euro of a eastern whitetail and your hairstyle tells it all. clueless and gay. You probaly can have a coues bed down in your hair and not even know it.
