Thanks Eric. Yeah I know that Martin has killed a ton of critters and even though its getting replaced with that new Hoyt Katera it will still be used in the field.

Here is the muley I shot with my bow today in the desert. He is not a high scoring deer but he is a old buck (7-8 years) some charactor. His left side is taller than his right, his face is real light and he has a roman nose.. I told my self with it being January I would not shoot a buck under 180" but when I saw him I knew he needed to die. I glassed him up over a mile away and could not really tell how big he was because of the angle but decided to put a stock on him.. Got a few hundred yards from him while he was feeding down a ridge. I just saw his left side and decided what the heck. Tried to get infront of him and he busted me at 72 yards. he just froze up so I flung a arrow and hit him right behind the shoulder. He took off and piled up 80-100 yards from were I shot him.

That is one bad butt buck. Mass and a droptine, what else could you ask for . Congrats to the hunter

When I used to pack in hunt we would pack in afew weeks before the hunt just to carry in water jugs, canned chili's, tuna, sardines, instant breakfast, oatmeal, hot chocolate, grills and pans.. we would hunt up there for ten days strait so it was kinda hard to make only one trip up. That was also back in the day when you could buy a additional deer tag and wack a small buck for camp meat to Trick we used to do to the guys we hunted was stick a 6 or 12 pack of soda in there pack when they we not looking and wait to tell them intel we hit the camp site .

As soon as my little one is old enough to walk and shoot a gun they will be down in mexico killing a coues deer. My cousins killed there first coues deer at age 7 and they all killed bucks in the 80-90 class range
