Have seen an albino doe in that unit. That would be an awesome trophy for a lucky kid to take that pig!

Feel free to share your rut reports. Was in 42 today. No rutting at all. Very warm. But did get an opportunity at a 150 class buck. He was by himself and didnt seem to be cruising for love. Gunna gain 1000' in elevation tomorrow and see if love is in the air(different unit). I feel the system moving in early this coming week might set it off. Good luck gents!

Last week had big guy with does. Was out the past two days saw tons of does with dinks trailing. It is definitely winding down. At least where I am. Was rather warm as well

It was good. Got on a few bucks. Was trying to get my buddy his first buck. Super hard to get in effective range with 30+ pairs of eyes and ears to protect the big guy. How is the rut going for everybody up to this point. Im seeing days where it is hot and for a few days it slows down.

Let see some pics! Heading up to 17b tomorrow morning. Will fill you guys in with my rut report. 20c has been hopping though.

Was out the past few days. Just seeing smaller bucks pushing. Hope this weather gets the big boys out and looking for lust. Good luck gentlemen

So the other day I was at the vet because my dog had to have surgery and when I went to pick her up to take her home. I was wearing a kuiu jacket. And over heard an older gentleman mention something aabout a desert bighorn hunt. He paid and walked out of the clinic about 5-10 minutes before me. When I walked out he asked about my jacket. I asked him about what he was talking about inside. To find out he has the sheep hunt in 45c Castle Domes. We chatted up ip for about 20 minutes about prior hunts. I asked him if he hired a guide. He said no. Asked him if he had alot of help. No. Just him and his sick dad. I offered to help out on the hunt. We exchanged numbers and he said he could use all the help he could get. Ive never been in 45c. Im blind as a bat to the unit. But can glass animals. Never been on a sheep hunt. And would love to get the experience. Any help from any forum members that have had experience on thus hunt would be greatly appreciated. I firmly believe in helping others just for the heck of it! Ill be going out on his hunt next weekend. If he doesn't tag out this weekend.

Right on. 20c up top they are rutting good. Some of the younger bucks are limping around. Trying to find the bigger guys that are doing the butt whooping. Had a decent fork at 45 yards. He didnt offer a great shot. I decided not to shoot. Good luck guys!

As of right now. He is unable to even go on the hunt. His dad has fallen ill. And his dog is not doing well either. He said he will contact me if plans change. Hope all works out for his situation.

Awesome. Have found some near Williams -
Love mine. Great boot!

Agree with way too many tags in there. But the unit still holds some really nice deer. Alot of areas are overlooked. Doing some work on some of the ranches can also possibly get you some access in great country

Was out this am in my teton insulated and softshell in 27 degrees while glassing. Kept me warm. Actually had to open it up because I was starting to sweat.
