    Anyone do tint?

First, that Blazer looks awesome!!! Is it a '92? Great stance, rim/tire combo, rack, nerf bars, and matte black finish. I use Vader Tint, Talia 6zero2 three48666one she is mobile but heard they opened a shop near I-17 and tbird, She has tinted 4 or five of my vehicles at my N Phx home. Nice work on the Blazer!

    Which Hunting Rig?

Anybody ever read Pat McManus' story about huntin' rigs? Basically, any rig your buddy owns is a "nice little huntin' rig" It could be a Toyota Corolla and you compliment him on the short wheelbase and front-wheel drive to help climb steep dirt roads...... Years ago had a buddy and we both had "company trucks" mine was a 2000 chevy 2wd long bed and his was an '04 F150 2wd lb and I complimented him on the higher clearance than my Chevy. That weekend we were boondocking in the F150 for mulies and he almost put a rock through his oil pan. The look he gave me was priceless. A cross between being pissed and disbelief I talked him into it. The take-away is the best huntin' rig is the one your buddy owns, no matter what it is. 🤣

    Reduced price Horse Saddles

Dammit! Now I have saddle envy! I just need a few more ponies I guess.I figure you can’t have too much good leather but i had to scatter mine around the house so the Mrs would not count them. Same reason there is not a glass door on my gun safe.

    Hiking boot selection, heel issues

Homophones are a b*tch sometimes. Especially if you are typing fast and spellcheck leaves you hanging. Thank god for context allowing us to discern the intent.

    Exhaust Shop?

Ted over at Big Jim's Custom Exhaust (Big Jim's Mufflers) is a one-man shop near I-17 and Bell. I bought some pipe from him for fuel filler neck for my SuperDuty flatbed project and would definitely use him. He works with the local dealerships a lot. Good google reviews too.

    Hiking boot selection, heel issues

I have the same issue. I can form a backside heel blister so fast if it were an Olympic sport I'd be the GOAT. A non-issue in hiking boots but in my Danner Pronghorns they severely limit my range. I want to love these boots for steep country as the ankle support is top-notch but they kill me on up hill climbs. My slip on cowboy/work boots are easier on me than those Danners in steep country and that should never be true. Don't waste your money on those gel wrap-around heal covers as I can never keep them in place. I also use superfeet insoles too but they don't fix the heel blisters that occur just below your achillies tendon. I think I need to learn how to tape them up without the tape balling up on the edges. The struggle is real.

    Chevy Mechanic on here?

Need some advice on a 1998 Tahoe (nice little huntin' rig) with the trusty 5.7 Service engine soon light on solid then blinking The code reader says P1035 (not p0135) I guess that is a mfg specific code and I cannot locate anything on the interwebs on it that is definitive. Rough idle, a little backfire, exhaust smells of hydrocarbons Before I start throwing O2 sensors at the thing at $50 a pop, got any educated ideas? I have plenty of my own uneducated ideas, so I don't need them. LOL, as the kids say. Thx

    Chevy Mechanic on here?

Incase anyone was curious, the verdict is that the distributor ear where one of the cap screws goes into was broken so that cap was opening and closing like a clam shell causing that misfire. I discovered after replacing a pile o parts and the cap, rotor, plugs, and wires. New distributor did the trick. Removal and install went pretty smooth. Running like a top, passed emissions. Good to go til the next thing breaks. It’s always the last place you look. Thanks for the ideas!

I like it! Always wanted to put a 4BT Cummins in one to cruise around the farm in....... Then I'd have to buy a farm of course.

    Chevy Mechanic on here?

Yes, they don't like to run well with fouled plugs. This seemed to go bad quickly so I think if the plugs are bad the cause is one of the above-mentioned issues. I may need to go down that road too though. Thanks!

    Chevy Mechanic on here?

Yes, Hoping it's the Crank sensor $75 or the Knock Sensor $35 plus coolant. With 4 O2 sensors, I'd be playing Whack A Mole to guess which bank it was. I will crawl under her and check those connections before the auto parts guys start greeting me by my first name when I walk in. I may be too late for that though 🙂 Thanks for all the tips!

    ISO Dog Rattle Snake Training

https://huntercanine.com/ I used them. I'm sure there is someplace closer to you though. Basically use an e-collar and a real snake so the dog associates the snake smell with the e-collar and wants no part of it. Not really a DIY deal as you can imagine and the lesson is faster than you might guess.

    Bullpen

Gotta be a joke meme. Why would the group People Eating Tasty Animals even care about baseball? Next thing they will try to remove the dolphin from my tuna/bacon sandwich.

    Cool old leather scabbard

Saw the wear mark where it carried a bolt action rifle once or twice, then I saw, by the maker sign, someone actually wrote "Bolt" in the leather. Ever think of stamping Grandpa's name or initials on it then passing it down in the family? No one will ever have a stronger connection to it than you. Very cool item. Thanks for sharing.

    Yellow Labs for sale

I'm no marketing guru but adorable puppy pictures may elicit an emotional response you are looking for. This response includes a person shelling out $850. Picture this, a CWT member viewing the aforementioned adorable puppy pictures when a child in the home catches a glimpse of little fuzzy bundles of yellow joy... That child, all of the sudden, needs (can't live without) a lab puppy and it's so close to Christmas.....WHAMO, sold a dog! Everyone knows you don't get a pup on a major holiday, getting them before or after allows them to acclimate to a normal routine, missing or being settled in prior to the chaos of the holiday festivities. Thanks to the microwave oven and on demand this, on demand that, we are also horrible at delaying gratification so your puppies are well-positioned to be in hew homes before Christmas. GLWS
