My Unit 7 antelope I harvested in September arrived today. Chris at Mount n View did a great job!

Game and fish info directs all Javelina hunters to that area. I hunted 37a but not Picacho Mountains, Had a massive 3x3 at 69 yards...but couldn't seal the deal! Week days equal less pressure there.

I got extremely lucky and drew the Tag with one bonus point!

No he doesn't do the tanning himself. He said the antelope hides came back from the tannery in record time. That was why he was able to finish it so quick. When I dropped it off he said it would be about 6 months, but because of the hides coming back so fast it took 3 months! And the mount looks Great!

Yes very quick turn around. He is by far one of the best taxidermist around. He did the mule deer in the photo.

BIG!!!!!!

Found these three desert mule deer sheds yesterday while quail hunting. The big four point on the end is big! The middle shed is a six point it has one broken tine.

Used a light wood stain to recolor two of them.

Found the quail too! Hunted all day and limted out about 530pm.

Shot by my friends son Thursday. When i started to field dress it i noticed something was not quite right. How rare is this?

The game and fish officer said these are like 1 in a 1000. But he said that was just a guess.

37A quail from today.

I'm thinking of purchasing a Tikka t3 hunter 300 win mag or possibly a Tikka t3 lite in 7mm mag. Anybody own one? Looking for input?

Thanks for the comments. Looks like this gun is a great gun. Now to decide 7mm mag or 300 wm. Im leaning towards the 7mm mag!

What a great time! Had a few friends join me on my antelope hunt and they made it a blast. Two of them arrowed fine young tasty bucks during the hunt. Camp Double rainbow First buck

I must say these animals are a blast to hunt. I stalked this buck for about a mile before I got a shot. Thank God for pine trees they helped me close the distance for the 165 yard shot!
